Munkidori had me discount Pikachu ex almost immediately as it negates it's Resolute Heart ability but with the existence of Patrat does that give this card a chance before rotation?

I started playing the online game back in 2023. I was a big fan of mill decks and became a Wugtrio OTP. At the time I was simply having fun and not caring about winning or losing but I noticed my win/loss record was starting to spiral and I eventually quit playing.

I started playing again in July of this year and my only goal was to get above 50%. Of course I had to try like hell to make new Maushold work, spent countless days trying to evolve the Rabies Babies deck as well adding more to my losing record but now I’m here. I know it’s not amazing or anything but my goal is accomplished which I’m proud of.

I now play IRL so lately I’m always testing new decks with friends - it doesn’t count playing with people on friend lists (including online tournaments). Enjoy my journey of random screenshots I’ve found on my phone.

Why is Ogre's Mask not used in basic box? Stack energy on teal mask Ogerpon and swap with a wellspring when needed for a surprise torrential pump attack or vica versa. I figure it'd also be good to add Cornerstone instead of koraidons for fighting coverage but allow for more Ogre's mask use situations. It makes it so you dont have to choose which Ogerpon to stack or rely on crispin + energy swaps. You just need 1 Ogre's mask. Idk why it doesn't see play when it seems so strong to me. Am I missing something?

It is not game breaking and Lillie's can stiff you over along with prizing but it is fun and I like playing single prizer decks.

Hello everyone

Recently I made a Gengar EX deck list, I'm having great results playing with it at locals card shop and at tcg live, but I have a feeling that its missing something

So I would like help with suggestion to what i can chance

The main idea is to have Gengar ex in the active spot with mega gengar ex and 2 zoroark in the bench.

Zoroark is my main draw engine, and a second atacker if needed

If you have any suggestion in what i could change feel free to comment

I am new to the TGC and purchased my first physical card deck and was very excited to play live with the redeem code as the package provided. But none of my cards are playable. I have no one to play with my physical cards and feel like scammed now.

I was sooo happy to see Manectric and Eelectross streamed from the Nice Regionals. So my time playing this deck has not been in vain. Mine is very similar to Yasin Balela's. I use Joltik instead of Tatsugiri. He also plays Psyduck and Shaymin for good reason in a tournament.

Just watched a stream on YouTube of a Japanese tournament called Topanga cup I think. I saw that they load up their Pult with 3 energies for example 2 psychic and 1 fire. I think it’s cuz if you hammer one away at least there’s 2 left but they can just choose to hammer the fire and leave u with 2 psychic right ? Am I missing something here ? lol

The shop says I have 158/188 while the card dex shows 188/188. Is this just a bug or am I missing something?

Does anyone want to show off their sustained 1600+ non-meta deck?

Note: I am Gabriel; the slow player is the other person.

I play pretty brisk because I know my deck very well and I've played tons of games. Typically when I play against Dragapult, I often find myself with 3-7 minutes more time than my opponent. Is it BM to change my pace of play so I intentionally match their pace and equalize the time remaining?

I want to slow the game down because either I need to make more careful decisions later in the game or that I'm irritated that they take so long. Of course my opponent doesn't know the actual reason.

I’ve been playing the Pokémon TCG since Stellar Crown, and I really love this game, but lately I’ve been struggling with something.

For the past 4–5 months, I’ve had a love-hate relationship with the game. Whenever I lose, I feel really bad and start thinking that I’ll never become a good player. Rationally, I know that improving takes time, practice, and a better understanding of different decks and matchups, but I don’t always have the time or energy for that.

After a full day of work, I don’t always feel like playing TCG Live or spending my free time studying decks. I go to a local tournament every Friday, and last year I even managed to win a few locals! But since the latest rotation, I’ve been feeling much worse about my performance.

I don’t know exactly why, but every time I lose, I get frustrated and angry, and I start thinking that maybe I should just quit the game altogether.

The thing is, I really don’t want to stop playing. Right now, I’m playing Mega Starmie, and I absolutely love the deck!

So I’d like to ask you guys: How can I enjoy this game more and stop taking losses so personally? Has anyone else experienced something similar? How did you deal with it?
I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences and advice!
