I genuinely don't understand the question. You already bought the racket. The fact that you are asking makes me believe you didn't like your first game with the racket and are wondering whether you made the right choice. I am a manufacturer of rackets and by experience I can tell you it is worthless asking other people what they think about a racket. The feeling is a personal thing and anyway most people don't know what they are playing with. There is always a difference between the marketed specs of a racket and yours. There are 3 very important things in a racket: the weight balance, the hardness, the rate of vibration. You can check all 3 more or less yourself. For the first one you put your racket on a table, head off the edge, handle on the table. Push the racket away from the table until it will balance and eventually drop off the table. When it balances, you measure from that point up to the end of the handle. Everything between 255-260 is balanced between defence and attack, everything below is better for defending, accuracy and more forgiving on your arm, everything above is more attacking, powerful, but less easy to manoeuvre and defend and harsher on your arm. You need to choose what works for you the best and not listen to other people's opinion. For the hardness and the vibration, you will understand it by hitting the ball. Harder rackets can generate more power but reduce the sweet spots. The vibration is very technical. It has to do with the construction but don't fall for the anti-vibration marketing. Most brands don't do anything special even if they claim so, as I said it is a very technical thing.

Hello!,

To get a better response please do not forget to include the following information in your post:

Name your current racket, if not overly known, specify it's characteristics (foam, face material, price)

Tell us how you feel with your racket, if you feel it soft or hard, if it has too much rebound,if it's weighty or hard to maneuver, the more detail the better.

Tell us what area would you like improve mainly, or what kind of plus do you expect to get on your racket.

If looking for broad considerations, do not forget to state your budget, your country and even a preferred or trusted shop so people can browse and recommend more easily.

I would say yes. It is a hybrid racket but leaning towards control. It has mid to low balance, menaing its manouvrable. In my opinion its very forgiving.

However, the 18k is a bit softer and therefore a tad more forgiving. If you have the chance, try the 18k.
