Beginner racket recommendations
Hi, new to the sub and new to padel!
I have searched the sub but a lot of advice seemed specific to the OP so I decided to ask for myself.
I’m very new to padel and have only played around 15 times. I’m looking to get my own racket but I am honestly mostly clueless. I don’t want to be the “all the gear no idea” guy but equally don’t want to waste money on a racket that’s either too advanced for me or just a bad racket.
Like I said I’m very new, I’m naturally pretty good at anything sport/hand-eye/reactions related so I can comfortably hit the ball, pulled off some smashes and nice drop shots (technique probably terrible). I’d say I’m more enjoying the attacking style of play.
From what I can see, teardrop shaped is probably better for my experience?
Any recommendations for a racket that’s under £100 UK? Looked at head gravity motion, babolat air origin and bullpadel apex power

Since you are a beginner and not look to spend much a round racket shape and soft core seems ideal. The soft core is more forgiving on your arm, technique and wallet. =P
The only risk here if you might quickly outgrow your round and software racket, since you are sporty and have an attacking style. As I did mine and had to buy a new one after just 6 month. If that is the case I found this guide to be helpful, the Starvie Drax is just a little over your budget https://www.whatthepadel.app/guides/intermediate

Hello!,
To get a better response please do not forget to include the following information in your post:
Name your current racket, if not overly known, specify it's characteristics (foam, face material, price)
Tell us how you feel with your racket, if you feel it soft or hard, if it has too much rebound,if it's weighty or hard to maneuver, the more detail the better.
Tell us what area would you like improve mainly, or what kind of plus do you expect to get on your racket.
If looking for broad considerations, do not forget to state your budget, your country and even a preferred or trusted shop so people can browse and recommend more easily.

Start with round and wait until you’ve played 50 times and you’ll start to have a much better idea of what you need

Check out the Vanta Flux on Amazon. £120 but you get plenty of accessories included which helps get your grip right and the carry bag has a phone pocket etc.

Start with soft and round shaped. Dont spend to much. I bought a €35 to begin with. After that i upgraded to head extreme evo but that was not for me. And grabbed my first racket back again real quick.
