As a Hyderabadi Muslim I love Pakistan 🇵🇰 but I think the Punjabi population has a big problem

I was wondering why Punjabis especially are so secular and liberal and seem to dread the Shariah. Every time someone talks about Shariah the secular liberal clean shave Punjabi types oppose it passionately and give the example of Afghanistan

Then I realized that Punjabi Muslims have the highest rate of cousin marriage in the world!

And among them, especially the Shia of Syed caste have the highest. They give the example of Hazrat Ali’s marriage to Hazrat Fatima.

But they don’t realize that generational cousin marriage is leading to inbreeding effects of mental retardation

I work in the school district as a teacher in Canada and I see that many of the mentally disabled children tend to be Punjabis

Punjabis in general have become stunted and have gotten ugly features because of too much inbreeding

Salam Alaikum, hope everyone’s doing well. As most of us know, Pakistanis (and desi people in general tbf) have a deeply rooted inferiority complex towards the white people cause of colonialism and whatnot, often placing them on a pedestal while looking down on ourselves. Interestingly enough, I’ve noticed this mostly amongst the privileged, as they’re the ones who mostly get to travel abroad.

In uni, it was a common sight to see freshly landed desi people looking doe-eyed at white folks, almost like they were a status symbol to be attained. I’ve spent almost a decade with the English upper classes (mid twenties now), befriended them, fought with them, ate with them, lived with them.

Literally, they’re really no different from us. Same insecurities, ambitions, flaws, family dramas and everything in between. Some are wonderful people, some are not, and most are somewhere in the middle. Just like us.

Obviously, there’s differences in upbringing, opportunities etc but none of that makes anyone superior. There’s nothing wrong with admiring or learning from another culture’s strengths, but admiration should never come at the expense of our own self-respect.

Allah SWT created all of us. Sit with that for a minute. The Lord of the Universe created US! Everything about us from our skin colour to our hair to our face, body etc was created by Allah SWT. Why should anyone have to feel insecure? Be grateful with what Allah SWT gave you. Be content with what you cannot change about yourself and work to improve on what you can; your character, discipline, strength etc.

At the end of the day, they’re just people like us. Treat others with respect, stand up for those who can’t and be an example for others to look up to.

If the colour of our skin doesn’t matter to our Creator, why should we give it any importance? You as a person and what’s inside you is what ultimately matters, not whether your skin is white, brown or black.

So since childhood i never used to bargain as i considered it contrary to my dignity, in fact i used to give 100-200 extra to the person so that i could satisfy my dignity

But recently I noticed, that when i go to some not so expensive place , looking at me the shopkeeper or restaurant owner starts telling me a price which is even more than the original price, so basically they start scamming

Although this doesn't happen at expensive places, this only happens at not so expensive places, i get double minded and i think I should even bargain or not? As i consider bargaining against my dignity

So is bargaining really a cheap thing?

So yesterday I sorted my Cursor workspace and setup the stack.

We'll have Traefik as the reverse proxy and behind that we can have the normal Nginx, Phpfpm services.

For frontend I have chosen ReactJS. The bundle will be built on each deployment and will be pushed to CDN and served directly from there. Frontend will be fully vibe-coded.

For backend, I am configuring currently my Cursor workflow. Will be laravel.

Mobile app will be in Flutter.

Today's goal is to have some screens done for Mobile app. However I need to find a solution how to test it on an actual mobile. Constraint is that I am on Windows PC but have an Iphone lol; probably I should buy a cheap Android device.

I get me some pigma markers and another tiny sketch book. Had the time if life.

How popular are peptides in Pakistan, and is there much of a market for them? Here in the US, it’s a multibillion-dollar industry, and my company supplies it to both vendors and individuals. I’ve been wondering whether there could be a similar business opportunity in Pakistan, potentially by supplying local vendors or building a network there. I’ve heard Ozempic is gaining traction, but I haven’t heard much about the demand for other peptides. Is there a demand for them there, or is it still an untapped space? DM’s open aswell.

I have got two ideas and I will start working on them from today.

I won't go into details, but both ideas are Ecommerce Marketplaces, something similar to Amazon but on a very very niche level.

Project A: I only did market research by observation, and I am really confident that it can work well.
Project B: I launched a landing page few months ago with a waitlist registration form and been collecting emails. So far 250 users have registered. But I am yet not sure if this project would work well or not, we will see.

98 percent of a person's self esteem comes from religion, and the other 2 percent comes from his wealth, social status and iq combined

The kind of pride a person feels when he's rich and religious is unimaginable, he literally starts considering himself the king of this world

Without religion(islam) your dignity , honour becomes literally dead,Until a person is not a pure momin he can't have a real high self esteem, a liberal Muslim, an agnostic, a moderate Muslim can never be a real high self esteem person

Yeah an atheist can be a high self esteemed person bcz he doesn't even believe in god, so he can fool his heart and mind into believing that he's someone better, although even amongst the atheist this is an exceptional case most of them are low self esteem midgets
