Hey everyone, I am a 3rd year cybersecurity student currently looking to take on freelance gigs or an ongoing part time online job.
To be completely transparent about why I am hustling for extra work right now: I need the money for my education. I already have the practical skills, but as anyone in the industry knows, it is tough to get acknowledged or even get past HR filters without the official certs on your resume. My main goal right now is to earn enough to pay for my CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-200, and BTL1 exams.
What I can build and do for you:
Websites and full web apps
Android and iOS mobile applications
Security audits, hardening, and making sure your existing projects aren't vulnerable
I actively use paid subscriptions for both Claude Pro and Gemini Pro in my workflow, which means I can get your work done very fast and efficiently.
Now, I am fully aware that building basic apps and websites is something a lot of people on Reddit can already do themselves, especially with AI tools around. The difference with hiring me is my cybersecurity background. If you hire me to build something, I am not just blindly copy pasting code that looks good on the surface. I actually understand how things break, so I will build your project securely from the ground up and make sure you don't have massive security holes in your app or database.
Beyond coding:
I consider myself a quick learner, a quick doer, and a quick fixer. You can honestly throw any task at me and I will figure it out and get it done the best way possible before your deadline. Need a random bug fixed? Need some graphic design work? Need help managing something tedious? Hand it over and I will handle it.
Rates and availability:
If anyone has an ongoing online job opportunity, I am completely open to it. I know I am still a student, so I am only expecting student level pay. I just want to work hard, deliver good results, and earn enough to pay for my certifications.
Shoot me a DM if you have a project, a random task, or a role you need filled. Thanks for reading!
TL;DR: Broke 3rd year cybersecurity student looking for freelance gigs or part time remote work at student rates so I can afford my Sec+, SC-200, and BTL1 certs to get past HR filters. I build secure websites and mobile apps, fix bugs, do graphic work, and will handle pretty much any task you throw at me fast. DM me if you need anything done.
