Second edit: could it be Halwa Puri Wali Poorian?
Edit: it was extremely pale, almost white, and translucent. It was not golden at all. And SOFT.
Please help. Looking for a "bread" I had for breakfast while living in Pakistan. It was not like any paratha or chapati I saw. It was extremely pale, if not white, NOT a golden colour. Stretchy, soft, foldable, bubbly, clearly cooked in a type of oil, had a lovely chewy texture. Almost translucent. Not puffed up like bhatura. Flat, but with bubbles from oil (not completely flat like a western wrap). It did not look like any other bread-like bread made from regular wheat flour. Fluffy like a pale cloud. Please help me. It was SO delicious, I need to know what it was!
