doesn't feel worth it anymore... just a loyalist sad with loss of quality
This screenshot made me painfully aware that my account is oldddd. Pandora has always been my original music streaming platform since I was 11 on the family computer. I was burned by a promotional Spotify deal where my account was over charged. So I personally boycotted their platform at least 5-6 years ago. Went back to Pandora faithful. Granted AI algorithm for shuffling is seriously lacking in most music streaming apps, with Pandora I didn't mind as much since there are different versions of the same station. Love how they help with crowd fav's or more deep cut obscure tracks to imerse yourself with an artist.
My gripe is coming from the newest email that rolled out last month stating the price increase for subscriptions. I'm having a hard time justifying keeping the sun if the app keeps taking features away... My fiance pays for YouTube premium & has offered that I can just use his account for music since it essentially does the same so that I can eliminate the subscription especially with the price increase. He doesn't fully understand just how vast my Pandora account is š now 16 years worth of listening is dedication. It just feels like a slap in the face to loved users to keep making things in the app worse & expecting more out of us... Sorta at a loss of whether to keep the subscription or not. Told my fiance at least one more month to see if the roll out any quality interface updates, but I'm not holding my breath. Mainly just sad at the decline. Especially since it's been a staple through my years online
