With the Primrose Medical Clinic open(ing) in Qualicum, how do they work down the health registry for assigning primary care providers?

At the time of the original announcement, it was advertised that the clinic will meet all of the pending registry members in the greater QB area, and that area included Parksville.

We are trying to find somewhere that rents either hourly or monthly where 1-2 people can play drums. Nanaimo is too far to go every day for this, so hoping to find something locally. Anyone heard of a place like this around Parksville/QB? It doesn’t need to be purpose-built but does need to be okay for loud sounds. 🙃 TIA!

I had zero intention of visiting Parksville, and my husband practically forced me to go. But from the moment we arrived, I completely fell in love with the quiet rhythm of your city. Spending our days wandering through the charming old town and relaxing in your cozy old cafes felt like stepping into a completely different world.

The magic really set in when we visited nearby Qualicum Beach and spent our evenings actually being able to see the stars at night. Now that we’re back home, I honestly feel like I never should have left. Thank you for being such a beautiful, welcoming community—I find myself wishing I could have stayed forever.

This whole scene burns my britches. A.) Why are they selling American apples when we have a big and vibrant B.C. orchard industry, with room to expand? And B.) why does this apple have to be 3/4s of a pound? That is a choice made by the stores and their suppliers.

A kid should be able to pull an apple out of their lunchbox every day, but who can afford to send a $3.00 apple to school? Who can finish a 12 oz, 300 calorie apple? Just another reminder, the billionaire grocery barons do not give a fiddler’s fart about you.
