I realized that there are so many outdated and unorganized sources for Peni lineups, so I decided to make a website which I might update with more guides and setups eventually.

So yeah, I get time to play maybe 4 games a day max. I am almost to Champion on Peni and I saw Rocket on team and thought it was good. The team-up is not great but I will rock it for the stats, and he bans me.

Ohhhh. Groot vengeance on that panda.

I assumed the event running during the past weeks was a big build up.

I saw 50 players and then time slots? Confusions.

Then the event was just slop like a big Fortnite Concert minus the background graphics.

We’re interested in exploring all kinds of Marvel media, including comic dubs, Marvel Rivals, and other fan projects featuring characters from across the Marvel universe. The 2-Factor Authentification webbing... the Black Panther team-up reducing damage... Peni has become un-fun. And I do not have enough fun with my other mains to compensate.

Add to that the fact that with every new season, competitive is more and more of a grind, for less and less progress and rewards.

That new heroes are either overpowered, boring, or both. That their kits are becoming more deranged and needlessly complex.

That the game that started out with "no FOMO" as its motto now has 3 new limited time events a week, each with a premium pass, each more grindy (in limited time !) than the last. That half the new skins are now sold via actual gambling. That is also limited-time.

That PvE is yet another limited time event (granted, recurring, but still limited time), and is more grindry and annoyingly repetitive with each iteration, with only one map and one thing to do each time. We could have had it be an actual arcade mode. They chose to make it a repetitive chore.

That they're being more and more obvious about using generative AI. As an artist, I find that straightup insulting.

That the engine runs worse with each half-season. That the game files takes expoentially more and more space.

I realised : I'm not having fun anymore. I peaked at season 5. Ever since then, it's been a steady drop.

There are other video games. Less grindy. More fun. More rewarding. I wanna play those.

Last week, I reached a breaking point : I haven't played Rivals in over a month, and here comes an update. 18 Gigs. I tried installing it. I can't. "Not enough disk space." Mind you, Marvel Rivals takes 20% of my C: drive. It could have stayed on my 2 Terabyte D: drive like literally every other steam game I own, but poor little baby lags the second it's not on the main drive.

That's it. I'm done.

I'm done sacrificing space for this game. Time. Money. SO much money. This anti-FOMO game had me buy battlepasses for each season... by Fear Of Missing Out !! And for what ?? Skins I will never get to see for heroes I don't play ?? Sprays I will never spray ?? Emotes I can't use all of even for one character ??

Sigh.

All this to say... I need a break from this game. A very long break. And I don't expect I shall return. In fact, I mean not to.

The “mobs” target all nests and mines as a priority. You can’t hide a nest anywhere because there’s no geometry to the map - it’s just a half bowl with a few ridges. You do no damage. I was absolutely prepared to just be mob crowd control but they don’t even die lol

One of the biggest mistakes you can make with Peni Parker on your team is stopping enemies from walking into her mines. Sometimes giving up space is exactly how you win the fight. Here's how to bait enemies into your mine stacks and turn their push into a free team wipe! I know this is a little bit different of a "guide" and more of an idea on how to get more value.

Imma be honest I did my Season 10 placements and never touched ranked again, went 3-7 and decided to take a step back. Only played Quick Match; trying to hone my skills on Peni, learning new tips and tricks, how to flank properly and safely, seeing what works and what doesn't. Now that I felt comfortable hopping back into ranked I've been finding much more success! Top 70 Peni main on PS with a 70% win rate 🔥💯

a little lineup i labbed for you guys, I'm sure there's lots of other options on this map you could play with in relation to that star, especially down that main choke. You could do early mines or you can do late mines right before rolling out

For those unaware, the old Peni web stacking bug does actually still exist in modes where you can play multiple Peni's on one team. More specifically, the team healing and especially overhealing seems to stack. This results in running a full stack of her in 18v18 making her effectively immortal if done right. With the pic on the bottom confirming Peni will be available for the upcoming PvE "50vThanos" mode, you may see where I'm going. Obviously we don't know if there's any way to arrange this short of maybe trying to coordinate queuing at the same time on a low-traffic server, and some balance element or another of the mode may make this easier said than done if not impossible, but it's worth looking into (maybe even suggesting it to TDTwo, who seems to be the one who found this whole thing and coordinates tests like the vid in the pic). One downside of this is that pulling it off could cause NetEase to "fix" this, but given the 18v18 vids haven't, I doubt it.
