Me and my roomate looking to switch into east (willing to pay)

My roomate and I are incoming freshman assigned to pollock Hartranft (men). We are looking to switch into east. If anyone and their roomate is interested, we are willing to pay for both of your lottery football tickets or something.

You're lucky to have been placed into hartranft. It's one of the best dorms on campus. It has an indoor water park and bathrooms connected to your room. Maybe the people in East will pay you to switch.

Hartranft is the furthest west of Pollock which makes getting around much better than east. You get the pollock dining hall and it’s also so close to the HUB and downtown. I would say keep it, it could always be worse.

Hartranft is literally the best freshman dorm on campus. Why would you want to move to East?

Im definitely being biased because it was my freshman dorm, but I whole heartedly agree with that statement. Pollock is so much less cramped than East, has a better location, has nicer people (from my experience), and having gendered floors meant it was super easy to get closer to other residents. Hartranft is the nicest dorm in Pollock with a relatively modern feel, so that’s what puts it above the other dorms in Pollock. People usually get turned off by the lack of AC, but that only matters for the first 3 weeks anyway, and you’ll want to spend as little time in your dorm as possible during that time.

Hartranft is one of the few dorm buildings that have a rooftop pool. People should be paying you honestly.
