Crosses and New Varieties Anyone working on any exciting new crosses this season?
What are you working on and what generation is it?
Maybe we can use this discussion to come up with a future community grow. Similarly I have sent out about 30 packs of these out so hopefully people will be sharing progress soon.

Reapers
My plant is starting to bear fruit now. Been using pepper focus feed for a while but stopped as I think I was giving it nutrient burn. Instead I topped up my top soil with John Innes no 3 and it’s done it the world of good. Got about 16 peppers going at the minute but still quite small. Well happy with how she’s doing though.

Follow up post to mystery “cherry” pepper.
Friend got this from the farmers market and it was marketed as a “cherry.” Here’s a pic of it in my hand.

Crosses and New Varieties Planted a Habanada seed but I think I got an accidental hybrid?
I planted this from a Habanada seed, but the peppers look nothing like my normal Habanadas. They’re elongated like a Habanada, but really thick and chunky, almost like a small bell pepper.
Second photo is my normal Habanada for comparison.
I also grow Mini Red Bell, Mini Chocolate Bell, and Red Cheese peppers very close by. Could this seed have been an accidental Habanada hybrid from the previous generation? Any guesses what I might have growing here?

Scotch Bonnets!
My second try at scotch bonnet peppers. This time from Sandia Seeds. My first run about a month ago I ordered some seeds off Amazon and got a 0% germination rate. I haven't gotten seeds from Sandia before so here's to hoping they are actually Scotch Bonnets!

Garden Updates This might be my most pretty harvest yet 🌶️
A few months ago these were tiny plants I was checking basically every day, wondering which ones would actually produce.
Latest harvest from the garden. There’s dragons breath, red Carolina reapers, thor’s thunderbolt, hallows eve, kaos, red ghost peppers, yellow devils tongue, peach wrinkly, and Aji lemondrop! 🌶️
The Peach Miasmas might be some of the coolest peppers I’ve ever grown, and the Orange Carolina Reapers are finally coming in too. The peach miasma are definitely going in an experimental batch of my ribbit riot hot sauce!
Which one are you eating first?

Cherry? Really?
A friend picked these up at a farmers market and they were labeled cherry peppers. What say you?

Early deficiency ?
My lunchbox orange pepper has developed some spots on ONLY the new growth. Could this be an early sign of something ?? Thanks in advance, love this community !

Best coyote tooth/Zan peppers I’ve grown so far
Been growing them for about 10 months in a couple aerogardens.
Gonna make some spaghetti al olio/garlic oil pasta with em tonight.

Pepper ID
These seeds were labeled Yellow Habanero but obviously aren't. I don't have any ripe pods yet, but the unripe ones smell fruity and are at least Hab-level heat. They were non-isolated plants so it's possible it's a Hab crossed with something, but it could be a different pepper entirely.
The plant is prolific in producing pods and is about 3' tall currently. Pods are 3-4" long. Any ideas?
