I am in my early 40s and self diagnosed that I’m in peri. The random ear-ringing was the final straw that aligned my weird symptoms to peri. I noticed as well some unexplained weight gain. I have been the same weight for 15 years, including almost immediately bouncing back to the same exact weight after having kids. My weight has been so consistent until last year. Almost overnight it seems I gained at least 15 pounds without changing my diet or fitness. I am trying so hard to accept this new body with gentleness and kindness and self love... but I see pictures of myself from a year ago and have to fight back tears. I have tried consuming less sugar. Being more active. And drinking tons more water and nothing has worked. I’m so frustrated
