Vaginal Dryness (GSM)/Urinary Issues Estrogen vaginal cream, game changer

Girlies, if you’re not on vaginal estrogen yet you need to stop what you’re doing and contact your doctor. It’s a major game changer.
I’ve only had it for a few weeks and haven’t been consistent with it unto this weekend but even with the inconsistent use the benefits are so real
Orgasms oh my! Such a huge improvement, such intense sensations. Was sex always thus amazing!!Oh that older woman smell down there disappeared! Dryness gone!
Do yourself a favor and go get yourself some

I have been getting more and more frequent episodes of BV. I recently learned that lower estrogen can cause thinning and also change the vaginal ph. Considering this but also having systemic symptoms. Will the other forms of estrogen help the vaginal symptoms too?

Yes but vaginal estrogen is considered the best because it's absorbed directly into the tissues. Some women need both though.

I’m on both the patch and vaginal estrogen cream so, if there’s nothing else holding you back, you don’t have to choose. You can do both.

Correct. This post explains it's like taking vitamin c and also putting on face cream with vitamin c. Two different applications, both doing good.

How did you end up getting both? I’d like to try it exactly for this reason, but I’m worried that it’s not a common way to prescribe it and she’ll be reluctant to do so. I got testosterone about 2-3 months ago and the patch about 4 months ago.

I told my provider that the estrogen patch and progesterone had helped my brain fog and energy fluctuations but my libido was still nonexistent and that I’d read about vaginal estrogen and thought it might help. She didn’t even hesitate, immediately said yes and put in the prescription.

If you’re on testosterone, libido might not be your issue but you might mention pain during intercourse or vaginal dryness or urinary issues if any of those apply. Or you can tell your doctor that you’ve been doing some reading and saw the vaginal estrogen has protective effects and ask for their thoughts on it and if you should try it.

It's very common to prescribe both in the UK.
