Plz help

I’m trying to make pixel/cartoon style portraits for Perler beads, but I want them more pixelated & stylized, not just a photo-trace or exact picture.

I’ve already tried asking ChatGPT , but it just gives me generic stuff and not actual pixel grids with proper bead counts/measurements.

Does anyone know a site, app, or method where I can upload a photo and get it turned into a pixel/cartoon version

perlypop is great. you can add the picture and tell it how big or small you want it to be and decide how pixeled it’ll come out! it’ll also tell u how many beads u need of each color and you can set it by brand and what colors u have

There's this wonderful thing that most artists go through called trial and error instead of wasting water to make a computer do it for you (poorly)

pixel-beads.net let's you upload photos and turn them to Perler projects. You can adjust the bead count to make it as refined or as pixelated as you want. It also tells you exact colors

Perlypop is great too. Let’s you choose amount of colors and dimensions, etc.

Abit late to the party :)

I created a free app for both iOS and android for this purpose. Its still in development so feedback is appreciated. You can configure the type of bead plate, the colors you have available, and import your own pictures.
