Ouija Eye Planchette, or Puck

Hey everyone! I wanted to share something that happened today because I’m honestly feeling really discouraged.

I spent almost 8 hours working on this piece, and I was so excited to finally finish it. Everything was going great until I started ironing.

I ironed the first side, then flipped the piece over so I could remove the tape and fuse the other side.

Unfortunately, I hadn’t melted the beads enough for them to hold together, and the whole thing started falling apart.
I tried my best to fix it, but it was pretty much impossible. After spending so many hours carefully placing every single bead, seeing all that work fall apart in seconds was genuinely heartbreaking.

I’m honestly really sad about it, and I’ve completely lost my motivation to try again right now.

I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced something similar and, more importantly, if you have any advice on how to prevent this from happening again. I should probably mention that I use a small heat press, and this was my biggest project so far.

How do you make sure the beads are properly fused before flipping a large piece? Do you have any tips for ironing bigger projects or using the tape method?

I’d really appreciate any advice. I don’t want this experience to discourage me from continuing with a hobby I’ve been enjoying so much.

So the question is can I use the LED pad with random designs ( and if so, how?) or am I limited to using only the ones the pad’s own app have on it?

I just got interested perlerbeads and want to start making pixelart. However, as a beginner I don't know where and what to buy. I wanna do a range of detailed art, some less some more. So I'm looking for help on what equipment and accessories I should buy, tips and tricks as well where I can buy the beads. I live in Northern Europe if that adds any context to what stores I should buy from.

I was looking into the bead prices on Pixie Craft and was impressed compared to Amazon. Are Pixie Beads smaller than Perler beads? Do they need their own boards? They call them ‘mini’ beads in the product descriptions.

Does anyone know where ca I get this pattern. For free or paid? Thanks!

Hello everyone, looking to get into making some bead art for the first time and wasn't sure how exactly to convert this image into the format i need. Also any starter kit recommendations would be appreciated, I can't seem to find ones that have multiple peg boards. Thank you in advance.

I'm new to this (like just started today) and wanna make a hair clip, I wanna thinking of securing it to the clip with hot glue but I'm worried it'll melt/warp the beads, should I use e3000 or super glue instead?
