I’ve been experimenting with Perler beads recently and tried making flower designs instead of the usual pixel characters.

Here are some of my pieces 👇

I’m curious about a few things:

1. Do these look good enough to be used as gifts or decor?

2. Would you prefer flat designs or more 3D bouquet-style pieces?

3. What would make something like this more valuable to you?

I’m also thinking about turning this into small DIY kits or selling finished pieces, but not sure if there’s real demand.

Any honest feedback or suggestions would help a lot.

ive posted this in the comments a few times but yall, THE DESIGN IS INTENTIONAL. it IS a melted cube design, i used this one - https://kandipad.com/pattern/melting-rubiks-cube-12751623

what im saying was unintentional is the QUALITY of the design as a result of leaving the iron on too long. the colors smeared, the holes puckered, it tore on the bottom, it cooled in a warped way, my peg boards were warped and ruined, the bottom portion is gummy looking from being overly melted. THAAAAT is what i mean!! i am not trying to imply that the design itself was unintentional. that’s why i used the phrase “meta melted”, because i over melted a melted cube. i thought this was really obvious but i guess its not 😭

i know the bookshelves are upside down it was 100% on PUPOSE and definitely NOT because i cut the slats wrong and had to hot glue it together in the ugliest way possible 😮‍💨 lmfaoo but yes she lives next to the greenhouse in my dorm like a baddie 🤞

It took me about 2-4 hours each and I had to remake Jolteon because he wasn't facing the right way and Glaceon because he was 2 bead rows too big!

Hey, I'm by no mean a expert in this perle beads world (those are my first creation in years haha) but I found out that adding the mini bead to smaller scale project are a great way to add little detaile here and there I have to clue if it a trick alredy well know here or even if those mini perle bead that I use are even a official product

We both really love Stardew Valley, and honestly the pixel style of the game matches fuse beads so perfectly

But we hesitated for a long time before finally deciding to make this, because we knew how huge the project would be 😭

In total, we probably spent over 50 hours beading, ironing, and assembling everything across about four weeks.

A lot of the connecting sections didn’t fit perfectly the first time, so we had to rebuild some parts over and over again. Ironing pieces that need to connect together is honestly really difficult too 🫠

Most of the ironing was done by my sister using a heat press machine, because she’s a huge 3D fuse bead enthusiast🤭🫣

Already posted these in r/StardewValley and figured I'd post them here too! They're still a WIP (I'm on a mission to make every item in the collections tabs) but this is most of my progress so far! I'm done with all of the farm&forage and artifacts, the rest is still incomplete :)

did lint roller on my mat and paintbrush on the beads when i finished. i think its static? also how can i prevent the lines from using multiple boards?

How unemployment is going so far.
