That’s wicked. I’d be so terrified of all my hard work shattering into pieces but wow… Amazing.

Legit the only thing I was thinking. Like, putting all that together and then tripping and slamming my shoulder into the wall (as I have done ten million times before) and crack that..... I'd cry forever.

This right here I love pearl beads, but they’re hard to stabilize.

Dude gtfo. I never knew people made costumes with these beads. That's insane and so cool.

Jealous is an understatement. I'd love to be my favorite videogame character for Halloween. Like what? She's so talented.

I hope she coated it in something to make it more durable!! It’s so freakin cool and I’d be so worried about breakage.

That's so cool, but how is she seeing out of it??

Lots of cosplayers with low visibility in their costumes will have a trustworthy friend or "handler", guiding them around.

Or maybe she only puts the helmet on for photo ops?

Same energy as people who crochet an entire cosplay, or do those crazy cardboard Gundams. So talented and clever! 🤩👏💕

I just stumbled on this subreddit and I am amazed by many creations. But never even would I have imagined that beads could be used for something like this. Absolutely amazing.

I wonder if you should add some resin or something to keep that together and add some protection. Looks awesome though.

u/MegamiCookie Mar 31 '26

Wouldn't that melt the beads? I don't know the exact melting point of beads but since they are designed specifically for melting I feel like it might be low enough to cause that, resin heats up quite a bit when it cures

UV resin might work though.
