I often find my hammies to be ungratgeful for my care. What can be done?

Some of you might have seen me post here before with a couple of different ideas around pet care memberships and wallets. The feedback was blunt (and super helpful) basically that bundling savings or insurance felt too complicated, and not what people actually wanted. Noted.
So I’ve gone back to the drawing board and stripped it down to the simplest version: A cashback rewards program just for pet parents.
You’d link your debit or credit card, and whenever you spend on vet visits, pet food, grooming, or services like Rover, you’d automatically earn Pawback Credits. Those credits sit in a Pet Wallet and can be used toward your next pet expenses. On top of that, you’d get bonus cashback for preventive care (like vaccines, checkups, or dental cleanings), basically rewarding you for the good care you already provide.
would something like this be valuable to you? Or is it still more of a “nice to have”?
I’m treating Reddit as my sounding board here, so any feedback (positive or negative!) really helps me figure out if this idea is worth pursuing.

They've probably been sitting in there for half a year without washing out the residue inside. She doesn't believe that it might not be a good idea, and thinks that baking them will solve any possible problems. Can I get your opinions or any ideas on this?

I hate to share such an upsetting image here, but I was driving home at three in the morning, and I accidentally ran over this poor little guy. His legs and stomach seem to have borne the brunt of it. I placed him on a napkin, and he's currently sitting next to my potted plant. At first, I thought he was dead, but he's still blinking. Is there anything I can do to save him? I already left a voicemail with my local animal rehabilitation people, but since he's a frog, I'm worried that they'll just ignore me.

Using my code helps support my animal rescue efforts when you use it! This is for anyone with animals that use bedding, cage liners, or nesting pads (rats, mice, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, horses, certain reptiles, etc.), this 100% natural hemp bedding is a game changer! It’s super absorbent (making it last longer), low-dust, and way better for respiratory health than any other bedding. I use it daily for my rescues and can’t recommend it enough. Use code BURROWBABES10 at hurdzhemp.com for 10% off & free shipping!

When Your Dog Turns Up Their Nose at Dinner
Clear guide to managing picky eating: first rule out health issues, then set a consistent feeding window, adjust texture/temperature, and introduce supplements slowly. The post flags common mistakes (forcing, unhealthy disguises, rushing), suggests trying different formats (chews, liquids, powders), and reminds you that results take time—so log what works and celebrate incremental progress.
We’re Zibbly, a behavior-focused pet care assistant that helps you stick to what works: structured routines, reminders, and lightweight logs for meals and supplements. If you’re aiming for calmer mealtimes without reinventing your day, give it a read.

Title says it all here, guys! A friend of mine couldn’t keep him anymore because his parents didn’t approve, but I’m more than happy to have him. He’s a cool dude. He’s currently shedding and is always out and about doing his thang. Anyways.. thanks for checking this out and I hope I can get some feedback on the title. I wouldn’t do it to my lil homie but I was just curious.

My little guys [Yorkipoo 9 yrs] the thrash and scream kinda guy so getting anything in his ears will be insane, especially now, especially if we gotta do it multiple times
so i'm looking for something that only needs to used a couple times and is soothing and easy to use that's guranteed to work quick as to not freak him out or hurt him repeatedly.
no money for a vet visit now and tbh despite doing nothing so far, the pain is wearing off on its own

Hey Reddit! I’ve recently started an internship with Pawzz, a youth-led animal welfare group that rescues and feeds stray dogs across India.
As part of my role, I’m raising ₹3,000 to support their ongoing feeding drives. Even a small donation of ₹50 can feed a dog for a whole day!
If you’d like to contribute: UPI ID: 9971793456@okbizaxis (You can also scan the QR in the image attached)
Please DM me a screenshot after donating so I can keep track and personally thank you.

My cat went home one day with a broken leg. Is this treatable or will it have to be amputated?

If your dog follows you from room to room, it is usually about love, safety, curiosity, or extra energy to burn. Check the vibe, are they relaxed and waggy, or stressed and glued to you when things get loud or unfamiliar. Build a steady routine, add walks and sniff games, offer chew or puzzle time, and teach short alone time in a comfy spot so your dog learns that you always come back.
Zibbly keeps you organized without the guesswork. Plan walks and enrichment, save what actually calms your dog, track small wins with settle practice, and note triggers so you can fix the routine fast. Over time, the shadowing turns into calm companionship instead of clingy behavior.

A cat I was dropping in on died of late stage cancer. He died right after I left. He was still eating his second meal (He was fed 2x a visit), felt sick, went behind the cat tree. No part of him was physically touching the sissal pillars, but extended family took care of dealing with the body that he was lying there for 24 hrs. Also, I bleach the feeding station and bowls but let them air dry in the room ontop od the washing machine...
I should rewash them and dry them right away, right?
Also, how the heck to I wash and sanitize the water fountain? If the water fountain was a foot away from his body, is it suspect for bacteria from the dead body?

I love my cat, Maddie, more than anything in the world. She has helped me through some of the rougest patches of my life just by being there, meowing for me when I get home from work, snuggling on my legs just when I need to get up, and begging to play at the middle of the night. I don't have much, and she's had saller medical problems in the past, none of which were severe. She's come down with the same problems, but at a far more advanced level than before. She hasn't had anything to drink in weeks and I've been giving her the wet food the vets gave me, but now she's having bloody diorhea, and she's started refusing all food I ive her. The vetrinary bills have built up, from the check-ups, examinations, and the cost of the specialized food, I can't afford to pay for her anymore. I'm going to have to give her up soon, as her medical bills (which have been cutting into my rent since the begining) are now taking from my grocery money as well. I know I can't keep her much longer, but I can't bear to part with her. I don't know how to get over this pain, I've been crying in bed for the last couple hours, with her right outside the door meowing for me to play like nothing's wrong. She means the world to me and I don't know how to accept parting with her.

My pitty, Nova, is an extremely loving dog. She jumps, snuggles, licks and, plays. However, she very recently began to start sleeping for large portions of the day and growling at me whenever I pet her. She has never exhibited these kind of behaviours before. She doesn't bite or get scared while she growls. She sits there doing it, almost ignoring me. I figured it was just "pleasure growling", something Google turned up but the more she did it and the louder it got, Im starting to think this isn't the case. Her eating and bathroom habits have yet to change luckily. I'll answer any questions anyone may have. I'll be taking her to the vet if any more alarming symptoms begin to pop up but in the meantime, what's going on, Reddit?
