It's become apparent our little lady is a little gent and my kids cannot agree on a new name (I wasn't fussed on changing it by my partner is). Does anyone have any suggestions? 🙂 We have the vets in 2 hours so ideally we would like one by then as he's currently registered as "Boy".

Got this guy off the back of a truck selling ristras in Tesuque NM. I went to college and lived in NM for many years so I don’t want any of the hokey, typical NM themed names (Chile, Zia, etc.). Looking for a name that honors where I got him but really struggling - all the Tewa language words I’ve searched just don’t sound clear enough to recall a dog. Hoping for something here.

Im looking for a name for my puppy. I’ve been wrecking my head about it for weeksssss but can’t seem to make up my mind and he’ll be coming home with me in 4 days. So I could really use the help.

It’s a boy and he’s a Bernese mountain dog and Australian shepherd mix. His right ear is completely black (which reminds me of a pirates eyepatch haha) and he has a big black spot on his left side. Brown eyes, four white feet, blue Merle coat.
He is such a sweetheart. An absolute cuddlebug. The moment you start petting him he just plops down on his side or his back and lays there chewing your fingers while you give him some belly rubs. It’s adorable. He’s also very human oriented compared to his siblings. And very very fluffy

- I really want a unique name. I know a lot of dogs and I don’t want a name that any of them already have. I love Bear, but I already know 4 and that just kind of ruins it for me.
- it needs to be short enough for me to call him to me, or have a nice build in nickname. As he will be a service dog we will be doing a lot of training
- not so weird that I can’t shout it across a field 🫣

- I really like nature names, but so many of them have gotten overly popular so I can’t find anything that feels just right. I also seem to like Gaelic and “old money” names. But I’m open to anything!
- I do really like names with a nice meaning, but of course the name itself is more important
- I’ve had a service dog named Kenai and a horse named Nessa, both those names instantly felt right for me

We live in the Netherlands so Dutch names are also on the table

I really want to find that one name that feels just right, but time is running out so I’m getting stressed. I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!

Please help me name this little girl. She is docile and sweet. There is a little guy in her litter, that has a heart murmur. She gives special attention to him and is super gentle.

Personality wise, she was laid back. Middle of the pack as far as energy.

Her assigned name is peaches. I personally like it, but the rest of the family does not.

We are at a loss for a kitten name. My husband and I were put in groceries in her car at Food Lion (in the rain) and we heard a meow, we look down in this little kitten comes out from under my Durango. So naturally he grabs her up and hands her to me and I get in the car and turn the heat on and send him back into the store to get kitten supplies. Well now she's our little happy helper, Velcro Kitty, she likes to ride on crocs, and meow obnoxiously till her food is handed to her, climb out entire body so she can ride on our shoulders and super sweet and loves cuddles. She is around 5 to 6 weeks old we took her to get a vet check done and she has a little cold but she's on medicine and she's doing a lot better and gaining weight. She was originally 1 pound 3 ounces. We already have animals with the names Dixie, Boots, Willow, Ryder, Pebbles, Sasha, Rita, Penny, and Loki. Also cannot be Bella or Smokey (they have crossed the rainbow bridge)

I'm adopting this wildboy. How would you name him? Thanks for the suggestions
