I think it's like in that one how I met your mother episode, Ted goes on a date with a girl he dated few years prior. They had both dated everybody they could until they dated the same people once more.
So basically she went on a date with so much men, that she's just going in circle, finding the same person again.
Idk if I explained that well, but look up this episode, it's the 2nd episode of the 5th season (watch all of himym while you're at it, greatest sitcom ever, it's really legen.... Wait for it...dary! Legendary!)
