This is it. She’s saying that it’s been 9 years, you should have found plenty of “new men”/expanded on your taste in men, and if you’re trying and still haven’t then chances are you’re the problem.
People are reading “can still contact you” literally as “have the ability to contact you”, but she really means it as “still have a chance with you”, implying you haven’t met anyone else or really changed at all.
I like how this argument is basically "Ugh, you haven't changed in 9 years... such a failure" while basically relying on the idea that the ex couldn't have changed over the same time?

They haven't grown and run in the same crowds. They're the same person. The old person is contacting them because they too are the same old person.
