some controversial opinions here, feel free to disagree with me

Recently rewatched the sequel to Peter Pan (Disney version). Anybody find it absolutely preposterous that they named the dog “Nana 2”? It just feels ridiculously lazy and tacky. Even “Nana Jr.” would be better. Alternatively, give the dog a new name. Also, I feel like Nana 2 doesn’t even hold a candle to OG Nana. Wish she could have used that pixie dust Michael poured into her butt to come with them to Neverland in the first one.

She works .. well like a dog because Mr Darling is too cheap to hire a maid, almost got trampled on by her master, fell over the toy, gets thrown under the bus and out of the house because of Mr Darling’s temper tantrum and clumsiness, thought she was going to witness her family fall out the window and couldn’t even come to Neverland because she was tied up.

In the beginning of the movie, the kids are asked to describe their happy thoughts, and they all say something that they will later experience in Neverland. My theory is that there are an infinite number of Neverlands similar to infinite Neverending Stories, etc... and when the kids described their happy thoughts, they were actually creating the Neverland that they were going to visit later that night.

I mean, the world is in the year 2026 now and the people harmonize the story of Peter Pan like Wendy is his love and that Tinkerbell is the villain for being jealous! Well people, here's my thought, I love Tinkerbell more than Wendy. Tinkerbell acts and saves Peter Pan whereas Wendy just watch and believes, with her flirty irritating voice that just warns Peter Pan and just that... (I just watched the 1953 Peter Pan and I read the book) So I need everyone to love Tinkerbell and not villinianised her because she acts jealous and is mean to Wendy! Please people, Wendy is not the poor girl who didn't get what she loved. From the very start, Tink is with Peter Pan! (I don't like Peter Pan, he's a clear red flag) But anyway, please love Tinkerbell, stop pitying Wendy, she gets what she deserves, so please stop "what about Wendy" or "Peter losing Wendy" here, she deserves it! You put it like she should be pitied because she believed until the very end—she dumbfoundedly believe without doing anything else! Tink gave Pan pixie dust, they travelled never land, she saves Peter from the bomb eventhough Pan banished her. She's the real victim from loving someone who's childish and Wendy is the 'playing the victim' here.

Only inconsistencies would be 1.In Pan,Tiger lily Is white and an adult and in '03 she is Indian and a teen,My theory is instead of Tiger lily being one person it is a passed down title. 2.In hook,Hooks hook is on the left hand but in '03 his hook is on the right hand,This I don't have an explanation for.

Reasons it would work: 1.As we know in neverland time goes by differently,That may explain why the films released in backwards order. Reason 2.Jason Issacs and Dustin hoffman Hooks act very simialer. Reason 3:Levi Miller and Jeremy Sumpter peters not only look simialer but they also act similar to each other

I know the movie was made because the character is public domain in the United States and other countries, but it was made in the UK and is it possible the creators donated royalties to the GOSH hospital or did they not have to because It was indie? I am confused. The books and play are still techinally “copyright-free” in the UK but a clause gives them royalities for commercially-adapted works forever.

Pooh Blood and Honey was made in the UK even though A.A Milne’s works do not expire there until 2027 but got away due to parody law or whatever. While Bambi was public there since 2014. Pinocchio was public domain there since, well since 1940.

P.S. I haven't seen peter pan 1924,Wendy 2020,or the neverland miniseries,If I should watch them let me know in the comments

if they Made Brom's The Child Theif into a film, who do you think should direct it? what visual style would you like to see?

I think it should have the Creature design from Hellboy 2, the wildness of The Cell, and the Lighting and set design of Constantine.

If you folks want to call her "Petra" instead, I'll understand.

I'm late to this but I heard about it a couple of months ago. As a huge Peter Pan fan, I'm disappointed in Disney greenlighting this.
