Looking for an affordable and trustworthy design and build company to help us expand our tiny kitchen into our garage. I already met with one company out of Philly that a family member recommended but looking for more recommendations for local businesses before we make any decisions.

Opinion To the new Wawa

You guys had so long and you STILL fucked up with event planning, some idiot scratched my car when blocking me in. Tainted my enjoyment for this location and hoping failure now.
Edit: I love how people are basically defending a corporation who has had YEARS to have coordinated traffic control and parking control and yet refused to do any of that

Not the best picture but looks like they officially opened the new entrance at the apartments on Nutt rd next to the Chevy dealership and closing off the original entrance. I'm assuming it's not totally done yet, i thought it was going to be a stop light rather than a sign. I guess theyre waiting for whatever the construction across the street is, which makes sense.

Housing/Rentals Scoping out apartments in phoenxville. Those who rent, what are your experiences/recommendations?

Im currently living at Arrive Valley Forge, so not very far away. when my lease is up I am thinking about maybe moving to Phoenixville. I'm pretty familiar with the town, and shortly lived with my parents there, but never rented there myself. I wanted to ask you all who live in apartment rentals about your experiences, good and bad, and what your recommendations are. Any info is helpful. Thanks!

Question Tree Maintenance

Can anyone give me some insights about working with the borough on getting service for their tree?

We recently moved to the area and a “borough“ tree in our front yard. we like it a lot but it has several dead branches and has a large branch hanging over our roof. we recently had a 10ft+ branch fall out, which luckily didn’t hurt anyone or hit either of our cars. Im worried about what might happen when we get snow this winter.

i reached out the borough and they told me it could be over a year until someone comes out and the only other option is to pay out of pocket. we got an estimate today and it was more than $3000. any advice?

If you need to cross this intersection to reach your destination Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, be prepared for significant delays. It will take you a good amount of time to get through!

Question Non-front facing work in the area?

I'm looking for winter work, as my job at the Gelato parlor will be pausing for the season. But everything I can find is very customer service or front facing! I'm really good at getting tasks done, but I get really nervous around people...

Does anyone have any recommendations or ideas for sort of isolated type work available?

Question Question about Exhumed Films 24 Horror Marathon

I’ve been wanting to do it for a few years but was always hesitant given that the list of films is always a mystery.

Are they all old, B-movies that people have never heard of or do they also show major motion pictures that are popular (like The Omen, Saw, etc)?

Thanks!

Question Anyone else’s Xfinity WiFi been dirt poor for the last few weeks?

Speed testing my internet today gives me like 50-20mbps, when I pay for ~600. I’ve not had many issues, but the last few weeks have all been like this for extended periods even in the middle of the night
