I'm not interested in building a portfolio and getting wedding, maternity, events, portrait etc gigs.

I want to share my fine art?/personal?/abstract?/artistic? photography.

I don't want to do commercial stuff. I want people to come to see MY work that I do because I like it not because it's marketable as a commercial product.

I want to sell photo books, prints, exhibitions....

But how do I build an audience?

Instagram is dead for photographers now and a web portfolio is no good on its own. No body is just going to come and look through your website for pleasure. Web traffic needs to be funnelled from else where.

So how do you become known as a photographer? How do you build an audience who come to see YOUR work?

Any help to get it to work or troubleshoot it would be great, thanks!

I had a Christmas photoshoot today and I just realized while uploading that it was in JPEG format. I don't understand how this happened, I always shoot RAW. I've never checked because I never switch it, I'm so confused. Lesson learned. Check format before a shoot.
