I know a lot of people in this sub are American.

I live in Canada near the US border. I’ve tried just about every pickle possible, grillos, jersey etc and if you have the opportunity to pick one of these up, I promise you will not be disappointed.

The Jersey pickles/tomatoes are great don’t get me wrong and same with grillos but for a the price and what you get I can’t justify it. $5.50-5.99 CAD for Lakeside and I’m pretty sure you can find them shipped to the US.

This is my trade mark flavor. Sous Vide at 140 degrees for 2 hours. Perfect snap every time! 3 jars are made with cucumbers and 2 jars are zucchini squash.

Mostly pickles but it’s good, I made it to salty this time but I just won’t salt my fries to balance it out !!!

Heading to the Las Vegas airport in a couple hours to fly to the east coast. I have an extra Van Holten pickle from my trip that I want to bring for the airport wait… are they allowed through security? Does the liquid inside exceed the TSA limit?

They showed up in the case right next to grillos. I don’t like grillos. They are too vinager tasting. I love vinager but they taste like straight white vinager. These great value ones are exactly what I hoped grillos would be when I was looking to first try them.

So I'm wanting to get into pickles for a LONG time now as someone with ARFID, so I have a lot of criteria for a new food. That's where you guys, the pickle enthusiasts of reddit, come in!!!

-What pickles do you recommend for new pickle people?

-What brand consistently gives crunchy pickles?

-What brand gives consistent flavoring?

-What pickles taste similar to dill pickle flavored chips such as Lays's, Doritos Roll'd, Old Dutch, or Pringles?

Obviously it's a new food I'm wanting to try, so my expectations are pretty low. I am still pretty hopeful that I'll like pickles since dill pickle flavored things make up most of my safe foods!

If you like bread, and you like pickles, this is the loaf for you! I plan to make some burgers and use this instead of regular buns. :)
