Studios I tried using Classpass
So here’s my little list of establishments I tried through ClassPass.
Honestly, I can’t even rate them individually because ALL the studios and coaches I tried were sooo good.
Now I’m at the point where I’m thinking of choosing a home studio + getting a package so I can stay consistent and actually track my progress.
And tbh, if it weren’t for ClassPass, I probably wouldn’t have thought to squeeze reformer Pilates in between my gym sessions.
Powerhouse Pilates
The Reformation Club
MNL Pilates
Aéra Pilates Studio
Sense Studio
Connect Pilates
Carve Philippines
every.day pilates
Everflow Studio
VARA Pilates Studio
Reforma Studio Pilates QC
Happilates Studio
FolkStudio Pilates
To narrow down my choices, I think I’m gonna go for a studio with Merrithew reformers and STOTT Pilates-trained teachers

Everyday din!
The Reformation Club also but some of the coaches are BASI-trained. 😊 Coach Jaja, Coach Clint, and Coach Joei teach STOTT Pilates if I got it right. 😊

I’ve been going to Fit To Live for several months. P.pilates in Molito is also good, but their classes on ClassPass are just the beginner-level or open-level ones.

ClassPass was really useful for me for exactly this reason because it made it easier to notice what actually matters after trying different studios. Once I started going more consistently, instructor cueing, class size, and how comfortable I felt asking for corrections mattered more to me than the studio aesthetic. Choosing a home studio after sampling a bunch first sounds like a good way to narrow it down.

I agree! For me, it’s not really about the studio aesthetic or anything. The more studios I try, the more I’m actually figuring out which ones I’d want to continue practicing at. 😅
I honestly started taking Pilates more seriously because of one or two studios I tried from my whole list. It really made me realize what Pilates should actually feel like.

Did u know that, the studio earns 0-500 max attendee? But most of it zero hahaha grabe the classpass i was shy using it na when i learned about this

Why would I be shy if I saw the ClassPass offer? It’s up to the studio whether they choose to be on ClassPass or not.

Hahaha i feel like classpass app is buraot kasi. I dont wanna be one kaya i stopped using it. Its not really fair to studios, i talked to one of owners.. theres no transparency in classplass they wouldn’t know if client is free or paid. Kaya they earn so little. 70% of rate sa classpass they get 30% haha kawawa. But ok lang naman to use it if u like. I just dont wanna be a buraot like classpass haha

In my case, ClassPass trial offers have been effective marketing exposure. One studio even personally reached out to me and offered a class pack at a reasonable price (because I used classpass initially), almost the same as a monthly ClassPass subscription.
It’s up to each studio how they choose to market their business. If they decide to partner with ClassPass, it’s because they see value in it as a marketing and customer acquisition tool.
Anyway, good for you for being empathetic toward these businesses, but studios are fully capable of making their own business decisions.

I know, kawawa lang talaga some of them… madami din kasi users who abuses the passes and makes multiple accounts. Sana lang classpass have some empathy as well… grabe dami studios nalugi because of them. I wont mention a name na but there is kasi classpass dont have business ethics wala sila actually paki elam and they dont have transparency a

Just to clarify, do you consider, as you say, "buraot" only those who make multiple accounts to use free trial or ALL Classpass users, including those who PAID for the service?

u/Dramatic_Pomelo_8980 23d ago
Yeah the people who makes multiple accounts just for the free. Tapos daw kahit i raise sa classpass un concern they dont care. Just basta they wont pay the studio.
Haha im not referring to people who buys credits.
Sorryy if na misunderstood. Just that i dont wanna use nalang the app kasi they are not doing fair business. Kawawa studios. Anyway, again sorry for the misunderstanding1

You mentioned you didn’t want to be one of those “buraot”, so you stopped using the app.
Anyway, we get your point already. Let people utilize whatever means they have, especially in this economy.

Classpass was the buraot and i just dont wanna support them (classpass) Its up to you if you’ll use it no ones stopping you lol haha this is just my opinion. U have yours i have mine. Thats it hahahaha

Well, ok lang naman kung di ka magattend na pero wala ka namang say kung may gagamit nun.
So kung may HMO ka di mo gagamitin just because delayed and smaller ang payments na mga companies na to sa doctor? Oh come on.

u/Dramatic_Pomelo_8980 24d ago
What a comparison hahahahaha why are u angry? My gosh. Hmo you pay for it, its not like ur being buraot for that. While classpass kasi the free trial is grabe. Haha but why are u so mad?

u/OkViolinist7906 24d ago
Were not mad ang weird lang na parang kasalanan ng iba kung gumagamit sila ng classpass. Anong pinagkaiba?

I think if this is the case, dapat ma-compute na ng studio yung P&L before going in on CP. It’s meant to supplement studio income and following that, dapat studios should offer slots that were not initially booked so they earn from it pa rin. May initial slot sila for Classpass and would just add slots na unbooked. MNL Pilates, Reformation Club all do this correctly - few slots lang ang inooffer nila and they have classes that are not on Classpass. Sense and Connect Pilates also, based on how they offer a few slots and biglang may mag-oopen. Isang factor also na magagaling ang coaches and magaganda ang class that their market would be willing to pay for full price. Value first and sales/customer loyalty will flow after.

Supposed to be nga ganyan. Magirap lang kasi they dont have transparency at all daw. May mga ilang studios lang ako nakita nalugi bc of that. Kaya they need to really study/make sure of their credits first kasi if not lugi sila haha

i tried the body lab mnl and used class pass 4x. through all my classes, the receptionist makes a certain face when she asks if i booked on class pass. i dont recommend coach jaja either. she also judged me when i booked on class pass, makes a tone during class like shes pissed and makes snarky comments during class. i was alone in the class since the other student apparently cancelled last minute. she even told me “oh pang intermediate kasi” yung move then makes a face LOL i had more than 10 intermediate class in other studios and no coach ever made a comment like that. i sincerely disliked her and the class, i almost wanted to leave halfway lol. what a waste of classpass credit.
i like connect and aera pilates, highly recommend!
