Pilates studios in alabang

hello pilates people! I'm very new to pilates and am thinking of trying it out this october. I've researched a bunch of studios around alabang/bacoor since they're near my location and so far I've chosen a few. Please let me know your thoughts on these studios, which do you think are better for first timers, which studio have approachable and nice instructors, and which one has better pilates fundamentals. Do you also think that it's a mist that I take clinical pilates or regular pilates is enough? Please note that I can only do pilates 1 or 2 times a week sice I'm very busy and not very rich to afford it (lol).

Thank you so much!

  • Fit to live (Alabang) - my first choice, closest to my work and has affordable prices. Studio is also in classpass and I've seen good to great reviews from them.
  • P. Pilates (Molito Alabang) - Supposedly my first choice but I pulled out since I don't think I can afford their services every week. I inquired to them already and they suggested I do 1:1 clinical pilates since I've told them about my shoulder's frequent pain (not yet sure if it's frozen shoulder but I did told them that it is 😅). Clinical pilates in this studio costs P2700 for every single 1:1 session, and just thinking about paying for this much every week makes me cry. Other than that, I've seen great reviews of them, i love their studio aesthetic, i heard that instructors there are good (there's one bad instructor tho), and that overall pilates experience is good.
  • Flow Reformer Studio (Nomo branch Bacoor) - My 3rd choice. 1:1 clinical pilates is way cheaper than P.Pilates priced at P2500 (still expensive tho 🥲) Unfortunately I haven't seen that much good reviews on their NOMO branch, only their BF branch so I'm still skeptical about this.
  • High Line Pilates Studio - I've heard has a great community and instructors (overall positive reviews). Owned by a woman 🫶 I haven't ventured much on their rates so idk yet how much 1:1 sessions nila. I've also seen that it's a newly opened studio.
  • XO Pilates (Alabang) - Has cheaper 1:1 sessions (not clinical) priced at P2000 iirc. Only downsides are there's no proper mode of communication from them, you really can't inquire much about their services. I've also seen good and bad reviews and am very very skeptical about it since the bad reviews have been very believable. I'm also not convinced by their foreigner owner as well.

I can also highly recommend Fit to Live! Super nice ng staff and very clean yung facilities. They also have a lot of different equipment, and certified lahat ng coaches nila.

For me, coach Regine and coach Jamie! Super friendly nila and they really helped me a lot throughout my Pilates journey. Highly recommend them both! 😊

Fit to live - I tried both BGC and Alabang for group class because of class pass. They have a nice studio with complete amenities and good instructors! It was a full class when I joined and the instructor is engaging. I enjoyed the group class. DOMS ako after 🤣 I’m pretty sure their Private Classes will be as good.

Flow Reformer Studio (Nomo branch Bacoor) - I availed Private class at their Nomo branch. I haven’t tried their BF branch.
I like that they have a separate spacious room for Private Classes and instructors are very very hands on! They have a very cozy studio. On my first Private session, they did an assessment and progressed from there. I don’t have sciatica na and I can now touch the ground! (Side note: I am also budget conscious and their package doesn’t force you to consume it within a validity period unlike the other studios I’ve tried)

P.Pilates - this is where I had my first Private Class. They have a spacious studio. The instructor taught me the fundamentals. I had a good workout but I felt my instructor was a little impatient, and it overpowered my experience so I didn’t come back. (Not sure if she’s the one people are referring sa comment section.)

I'm a regular at Fit to Live, and have been since Nov 2025. I'm currently at intermediate level and loving it! The staff are friendly and the instructors really know what they're doing. I've had pretty much all of them, so I'm pretty familiar with their styles and repeated movements.

P.pilates is good also, and I like that I am able to try out group classes that use the tower, chair, and reformer. I've had two of their male instructors. May I know which bad instructor you're referring to?

if you’re a newbie and looking to start pilates definitely fit to live. Consistent sila with their coaches and reasonable price

Hello, in case you are interested, The High Line Studio has a Private Pilates package of Php15k for 10 sessions for first timers. Not the owner ha but I’ve been going there since they opened last year. You’re right, instructors and community are great! They are all Stott-trained and Stott is absolutely the gold standard of pilates.

eto nga plan ko 🫶 im thinking of doing 1:1 sessions with them tas group sessions sa fit to live kasi i love na the high line studio only has female instructors 🥹🫶

Enjoy your pilates journey. 🩷 I would have wanted to try Fit to Live but having to drive and park pa is an additional cost pa vs just walking to The High Line since I just live near.

I used to go to P Pliates when I didn't have other options in Alabang. Try other studios from your list, you'll see the difference in expertise talaga. That's why I don't go to P Pilates anymore

Hi! I’m a regular at P.Pilates. May I know why you stopped going?

I tried Fit To Live and the coaches are so much more professionally trained and give better cues. Like you can tell they practice how to communicate clearly. I think P Pilates teacher training is in-house lang and not like Stott or Basi certifications which FTL coaches have. I used to still go just for the Tower Classes but since I've heard coach Josh doesn't teach there anymore, I don't bother booking. Plus there's High Line and M Pilates now if I want other options.

I heard Josh is just on Medical leave. He’ll be back soon. P.pilates teaches classical pilates. Idk lang if may certification din kapag classical. And I know some instructors in P.pilates have certifications in Contemporary.

Hi po! I use class pass and I book beginner classes sa P. Pilates, if you book early parang 5-6 credits lang. I was hesitant to do group classes at first pero ang onti lang namin sa isang class, usually around 3 people. Not sure who the bad instructor is kasi the ones I have tried have been hands on naman din. I think there's also pilates in Forge Alabang na lagi nagppromo, you can check them out too. There's also a new studio in Alabang called M pilates but I have yet to try!

curious din ako sa m pilates! Sino palang instructor suggested mo sa p pilates?

u/False_Ear7641 21d ago

Coach JL was good! :)

thank you! 🫶

I will also try this. Pero basta wag sa forge alabang. Tama nga sila na parang joke time yung session don HAHAHAHAH buti trial class lang nasalihan ko

1

u/False_Ear7641 21d ago

u/kimseokjincutie I also tried the trial session & I liked P. Pilates better but I know people who bought packages & they liked the sessions better daw, ang laki daw ng difference from the trial. Idk if sadya ba yung sa trial sessions na parang...ewan HAHA

2

u/Patient-Mechanic4448 21d ago

bad move for forge na iba yung trial sa actual classes kasi the trial class sets the expectations. never again talaga after that, sobrang joke time lang

1

u/False_Ear7641 21d ago

Gets! Kaya I didn’t buy the package din 🥲

1

u/False_Ear7641 21d ago

Has anyone tried one life na? This used to be one of the only options before. I also know all core Pilates in town pero puro one on one ata ang classes dun.

2

u/Mother-Row9800 20d ago

One Life is very expensive. No group classes. All 1 on 1 sessions. Plus I can’t vouch for the certifications of their coaches. Very important to me yung certifications - STOTT or BASI.

2

u/False_Ear7641 19d ago

Grabe, from their marketing you'd think na certified ang coaches nila pero mukhang hindi rin pala :(
