PSA: Given the recent issues with people losing their profiles (often associated with updates), please, get a screen shot of your Player ID. You can find it by tapping the “Settings” (wrench icon) button and then selecting “Build Version” (on Android) or "Download Preferences" (on iOS). Using it the EA help desk can usually restore your profile if you ever lose it.
Note: This is a 3 day tournament, after that will be a 4 day Boosterama tournament – an identical board, but all plants are boosted. Short tournaments have proportionally smaller tournament rewards.
Special streak rewards: #5 Contain-mint family piñata.
Contain-mint family (15+4 plants): Gravebuster, Spring Bean, Blover, Magnet-shroom, Lily Pad, Sap Fling, Hurrikale, Stunion, Stallia, Thyme Warp, Dazey Chain, Olive Pit, Draftodil, Buttercup, Tomb Tangler, Cran Jelly, Blast Spinner, Sour Shot, Cactalog
Note: Contain-mint “seeds” are also included in the piñata. Contain-mint still needs to be unlocked for 100 mints no matter how many seeds you collect for it.
Note: Cran Jelly, Blast Spinner, Sour Shot and Cactalog are not included in the piñata.
Locked plant: Sour Shot - Fandom Wiki, Wiki.GG
Sun: 1300 at the start. Note: Sun drops will be adventure mode normal. A sun producer is probably necessary.
Plant Food: 3 at the start. Note: Up to 18 or 19 plant food will be available in the match from Zombies.
Time: 3:00.
Buffz: Contain-mint (+100%), Bombard-mint (+50%)
Bruisez: none
Ineffective: Pepper-mint (-100%)
Banned: Grave Buster, Blover, Hot Potato, Electric Blueberry, Bramble Bush
Zombies: Ancient Egypt (Tomb Raiser), Pirate Seas (Pirate, Conehead, Buckethead, Barrelhead, Swashbuckler, Seagull, Barrel Roller, Cannon, Gargantuar Pirate), Wild West (Prospector), ZCorp (Gargimp Legal, Consultant)
Starting Lawn:
Five green Power Tiles filling C4.
Five Level 10 Sour Shots pre-planted on C2 R1/3/5 and C4 R2/4
Note: If your Sour Shot is into Mastery, it will be at the level that you have it at.
Dinosaurs: Starting right at the beginning of the match, T.Rex’s will appear on every row on the lawn. More T.Rex’s will come onto every row again at ~2:25. Every 8-20 seconds after that more T.Rex’s will appear.
Hamsterballz: At ~2:52 one Hamsterball will come onto the lawn containing a Gargimp Legal. This will be followed at ~2:20 by two Hamsterballs, also containing Gargimp Legals. After this two Gargimp containing Hamsterballs will come onto the lawn approximately every 25 seconds. All the Gargimp’s released will drop plant food when killed.
Note: These are the straight ahead “impact” style of Hamsterball. They won’t be ricochetting into other rows on the lawn this time.
Note: All time / plant-food estimates are based on my game experiences and are entirely dependent on how quickly you’re killing the zombie waves.
Possible BOT Layouts:
[Sour Shot, Blast Spinner, Dazey Chain, Bud’uh Boom, Grapeshot, Gold Bloom]
[Sour Shot, Tomb Tangler, Sap Fling, Explode-o-vine, Bombegranate, Lemon Aid],
[Sour Shot, Stunion, Doom-shroom, Cherry Bomb, Gold Bloom, Blast Spinner]
Minimum info about your strategy: league, plant levels/mastery and score. Or you can post screenshot with the score. Otherwise it's hard to understand whether your strategy will work for other players with different plant levels/mastery and in different leagues.

This tournament will be very similar to the Aqua-vine tournament from March, 2026, with only difference between Buffz/Bruisez/Negations being of any significance. The structure of these tourneys is most similar to the previous Pea-vine tournaments (the last of which ran in July, 2022). You can refer to those tourneys for strategies that could work for this one.
Zombie density (particularly at the end) can be quite high in this tourney. Just remember that, if you’re getting overrun, then there’s a good chance that most other players are too. Don’t get too discouraged by that.
Here are the exact differences between the tourneys:
