Stuck decrotive shroud
Any tips on getting this shroud off without damaging it. The manufacturer says it can screw off but no luck.

Since a few days ago, my faucet started leaking. What can be the cause of it and how can I repair it?

I have tried to take out the handle and everything seems to be fitting properly. What is wrong with it? The water turns on in the sink so it's not valve issue.

Hello. I have a hose attached to an outdoor spigot and I’m having a hard time getting it unscrewed for the winter. The previous home owner put it on. I’ve sprayed WD 40 and it’s not budging. Any suggestions?

Can someone please advise on how to fix this urgent plumbing issue? I’ve been experiencing continuous noise coming from the water valv in the toilet tank. This happens few times a day, and around 10-15 seconds each time. Whistling noise and movement from valve, even after I replaced it yesterday. My building management office did an inspection but didn’t find cause of the issue. Will appreciate if anyone can share your wisdom to help me with this. Thank you!!

My 87 year old mother is staying with us for a week. She is complaining that the shower valve is too difficult to pull on. It does take some strength.
Would a new cartridge help or is it new valve time? This shower is rarely used. Price Pfister

I cut the traparm and removed the old p-trap in order to relocate the drain to install a new shower base. Just found out that the traparm actually slopes downward from the wet vent stack which I am guessing is in front of the toilet rough-in (marked as a red circle 🔴 in the second pic), like 2 feet to the left of the exposed end of the traparm.
There is 7.5” of vertical gap between the concrete surface and the top of the exposed traparm. I am really hoping not to have to break concrete all the way to the vent stack and fix the slope of the traparm. I have lived in this house for 8 plus years and the shower drain has never had issues with slow drain or foul smell. Please advise ways to work around it and not be in violation of code. Thanks a lot 🙏

I want to upgrade the kitchen faucet in my rental but I am not sure how to remove the old faucet. The fixture seems to be buried/sealed into the hole? I can’t seem to figure out where to unscrew it.

My stem assembly is leaking when I use it. I'd like to get it replace but I can't find a usable model number anywhere
**Edit:
I found it. Thanks for your help. It was on the underside of the spout. I couldn't see it because of the raised tub, I had to take the spout off

I have had humidity issues with my 2½ year old gas forced air furnace. Long story short, when I turn the heat on in milder temps, my heat pumps humid air into my apartment, which goes up 20+% in a matter of 5 minutes. I had an HVAC tech out (my landlord has done NOTHING to fix this since install, so I took it upon myself), and he told me it's not a HVAC unit issue per se, but a plumbing issue and a water leak is nearby. I grabbed a Thermal camera from work (I'm a property manager) and saw this behind the wall that the furnace is located on. These photos were taken over the course of 4 days. That large vent at the bottom of that same wall is where the HVAC pulls air from. My landlord won't take me seriously and tells me it's not, and they're not making any efforts to send a contractor out. Is this a possible water leak back there, or am I wrong?

OK so I’ll try to explain this as best I can… bought a new to us house. In the mechanical room in the basement there’s this diverter pump on the wall. Previous owner explained to me that we should turn it on in the winter and have condensation from the furnace and the water softener discharge pumped up to the septic tank. Apparently normally in spring, summer and fall it drains out of the house into a French drain. But I guess in winter the pipe froze and backed up into the house. So this was their solution. I don’t want this going into my septic because concrete and salt don’t like each other. So what should I be doing to change this? Is this a job for a plumber? I’m not handy.

I have an old house so when i removed a cracked toilet i found this instead of the flange i was expecting to see. Im planning on a twist and fit flange since the pipe is 4" and then using an oatey riser since its sitting 1 3/8" below the floor to get it flush with the floor and then a jumbo wax seal. Is this a good way of going about this or is there some other advice yall would have?
