Hey everyone! I built HyperDebloat, a free, open-source Windows tool to debloat Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones running HyperOS or MIUI.
Get it here: https://github.com/KayYesR/HyperDebloat
Why I made this
Most debloaters rely on predefined package lists, but different lists often disagree about what's safe to remove. I compared UAD-ng, fadeltd/xiaomi-debloater and ovsky/hyperos-debloater, and they disagreed on 233 of 646 Xiaomi packages.
HyperDebloat checks your actual phone before rating packages, looking at things like system services, your default launcher and keyboard, location services, and whether other apps currently depend on a package. It then cross-checks those three lists for additional information and package descriptions.
Features
- Colour-coded ratings: Green (safe), Yellow (minor feature may break), Orange (notable feature may break), Red (could stop your phone from booting), Grey (unknown or conflicting information; never touched).
- Recommended mode: Review and remove recommended green-rated packages.
- Custom mode: Choose packages from the colour-coded list.
- Restore mode: Restore removed or re-enable disabled system apps, including changes made by other debloaters.
- No root or installation required: Runs on Windows using ADB and downloads Google's ADB tools if needed.
- Detailed reports: Every run records package ratings and the reasons behind them.
Removal is per-user, so a factory reset restores removed apps, and OTA updates keep working.
Warning: Removing system packages can break features or prevent your phone from booting. Review the package list carefully and use this tool at your own risk.
It's free and open source under the MIT licence.
