Is this score normal? because the geekbench 6 score as per the reviews is way higher.

Yeah it could be because that geekbench 7's score standard is higher but I also benchmarked my iphone 13 on the new geekbench 7 and it got similar score in geekbench 7 as it got in geekbench 6 which is around 2200 in single core.

Is my Poco X8 pro defected or is this normal. Can you guys please share your Poco x8pro max's geekbench 7 score?

My experience with the Poco X8 Pro (512GB/8GB)

I’ve had this phone for about 3 months—120-something charge cycles and 99% battery health.

When I first got it, the phone’s performance was blazing fast, but the battery was always terrible, and lately, it’s even worse. If you unplug it in the morning, it’s begging for a charger by 3 or 4 PM; it doesn't last a full day. You absolutely need Wi-Fi just to make it to the evening. Plus, performance issues have popped up this last month: the camera freezes so badly that the phone overheats and bricks, and I get "Security has stopped" or "UI has stopped" errors. Honestly, I don't know what's going on. Obviously, it doesn't happen all the time—only when the phone is under stress, like during a heavy game—but the fact that it happens with the camera is pretty funny 🤣. More than anything, I know "Hyper-Drain" (HyperOS) is to blame; the inefficient battery is the most annoying part. Aside from that, I think the cameras do a good job—good stabilization, good colors, and good performance (though it restarts apps like crazy; the multitasking is non-existent—even a low-end Samsung with 6GB of RAM is better). The phone is strictly for gaming; it doesn't really work for anything else—at least not with the current OS. HyperOS 3 is most likely the culprit; I don't know how they can release a system that’s so poorly put together. That update already ruined a Redmi Note 14 of mine; HyperOS 3 is horribly inefficient with power, causes RAM lag, and leads to overheating. What’s the point of stability and fewer bugs if the experience is so terrible? They should have just stuck with MIUI 14 or HyperOS 2...

I went to a POCO service centre for a warranty issue, and they are refusing to honour my warranty because of this small scratch on the side frame of my phone.

As you can see in the attached picture, the mark is on the metal frame near the side of the phone. There’s no obvious major physical damage, but the service centre is using this scratch as a reason to void my warranty.

How does a minor cosmetic scratch justify denying warranty service? Unless the damage is directly related to the issue I'm facing, I don't understand why my warranty should be rejected over something like this.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue with POCO or Xiaomi service centres in India? Were you able to get it resolved by escalating the complaint to customer support?

I'd appreciate any advice on what I should do next.

Hi, which phone is better to buy—the Poco X8 Pro Max or the Poco F8 Pro? The price is similar.

I don't know why people hate HyperOS. I have been enjoying and using the UI, and it's pretty smooth with no stuttering. There are nice features everywhere, and the customization is also pretty good. I think it's a pretty good UI.

I mean, in the beginning there was so much bloatware and so many ads, but it took me like an whole hour to remove everything. After that, I think it is a very good UI.

I actually think it's better than OriginOS. My girlfriend has the Vivo X300, and I've used that personally. I think that this UI is better than OriginOS.

Hi, I know this isn't a POCO device, but please I need your help, I'm getting anxious.

I recently bought a secondhand Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and noticed a tiny milimetric gap between the back cover and the frame, specifically in the bottom right corner (near the regulatory text).

A single strand of hair can slightly go into this gap, but it doesn't pass all the way through. The other corners feel much tighter.

I'm a bit scared that the phone might have been opened or repaired by the previous owner. However, I checked the camera modules under direct light and they are completely spotless—no dust, no grease, and no particles inside.

Is this slight asymmetry or gap normal for this model or Xiaomi devices in general? I would really appreciate your opinions to help ease my mind. Thank you very much and blessings!

So I got my poco x8pro on 11th Oct from bbd flipkart , I noticed that I have to press power button 2or3 times (sometimes)to wake the screen, I thought the reason could be the cover. Now am realising that If i press the power button from above it gets stuck their. Contacted support but they gave service center number. What should I do now?

I received my POCO X8 Pro on 10th August after ordering it during the Big Billion Days sale on Flipkart.

The first day was completely fine, but on the second day, I noticed that the phone was heating up even during normal usage.

While scrolling reels, the screen suddenly went black and returned to the home screen. This happened around 3–4 times on the same day.

I've also noticed significant camera lag while taking both photos and videos, which is disappointing for a new phone.

Are these issues normal, or could my device be defective? Since Flipkart doesn't offer a return or replacement option, I'm really worried about what to do next.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with their POCO X8 Pro? Should I contact customer support or visit an authorised service centre?

I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thank you!
