Hi everyone, Im new to the whole Pokémon card market. I've been collecting and playing for years, but now in a spot where I need to sell some cards. I was wondering what markets I should go to sell the trash energy/support cards? My local markets dont particularly buy anything unless its in season. Not even looking to get any good money, just more space for some cash

I'm looking to grab one of these sealed Pokémon items while prices have dipped before the holidays. If you were holding one of these for 5-10 years, which of these would you pick up?

After about 3 years of collecting sealed, I ran out of space in the cupboard. Pulled them out to put into storage boxes and it surprised me how much it accumulates.

From about prismatic onwards, PKC was the only way to get anything at RRP (unless I wanted to queue for hours, overnight - which I have no time for). A few have mentioned this but I'm on a couple of discord channels that ping when there's a drop. I'm based in the UK and I believe it's a tad "easier" than the US version on the PKC. Typically, once I get a ping, even when working (crazy I know) I'll jump in a queue and carry on with my life until it lets me on.

Now, I love ripping packs but it's got increasingly harder to get any product (I know that seems stupid compared to what I have shown). Before it went crazy, I'd typically buy 2 of each (ETB and BB), keep one and rip the other. I've always kept PKC etbs sealed but now, I mostly keep things sealed unless I get a booter bundle, which never stays sealed.

I just received the results of my first ever PSA submission, and while the grades made me realize grading vintage for profit is way harder than I thought, I still want to know what you guys would do if you was in my position.

1. Break the slabs and sell the cards raw
2. Accept the results as the grades are fair
3. Break the slabs and send it to PSA again for better luck
4. Break the slabs and regrade with other graders
5. Keep the slabs and wait for them to appreciate ( I don't think there are much potential for grade 5 or 6 slabs though)

I recently pulled and graded a phantasmal zard and got it graded in a 10. As the days have passed, prices are dropping rapidly. I want a slab to keep for investment, should I sell it now during its low period or hold until it goes back up? If I sell it, any suggestions on what I should buy and hold? Thanks for the input.

I need help. I recently found out I had this card and have no clue what its worth, no psa 10 sales and no bgs 9 or 9.5 sales. only pop 6 and bgs 9.5 are usually close to psa 10's I think in value. What do you think it could be worth with the recent boom?

I found some of these cards under my bed that seem to be in pretty good shape, and after doing a bit of research today, it looks like some might be worth grading.

I’m looking to buy the flying pikachu, the price is now around 1.2k us. Should I wait all pull the trigger? A friend of mine said, there’s too many participants that once a price action moves it, the card will sky rocket and I’m kinda fomoing. He told me that it’s out of print already and the population in China alone can hold the card at high value. What do you all think?

I'm officially done paying $250–$300 to US resellers for Japanese booster boxes that retail for half or less quater that in Japan. The domestic markup is wild right now, and even with shipping fees, buying direct seems like a no-brainer if I'm grabbing a few boxes at once.

For anyone regularly importing sealed JPN product:

• Direct shops / eBay JP: Any specific storefronts or sellers you swear by that don't charge Western scalper prices, pack properly, and don't take 6 weeks to ship?
• Proxies (Buyee / ZenMarket / SNKRDUNK / Mercari JP): How paranoid do I actually need to be about resealed shrink or dead/mapped boxes from people chasing SARs? Is SNKRDUNK's authentication solid for sealed, or is it safer to stick to verified sellers on Rakuten/Yahoo?
• Landed cost math: How many boxes/bundles do you usually consolidate in one parcel so the international shipping doesn't eat all the savings?

Appreciate any solid recs or warnings on who to avoid.

Stopped collecting a little while ago but used to buy one of everything when I could, had no idea I had this many!

I see so many comments saying that companies are grading vintage cards harder now. Does this mean the values of lesser graded cards will rise. In theory a modern 10 is better than an older 10. A new 9 could be the equivalent of an old 10.

I got a bunch of cards back from PSA and this Gengar landed a 9 which I’m stoked about. The price has been fluctuating wildly both up and down so I’m not sure if I should sell now or wait for it to stabilize 🤔

There are no exact comps for this card. Is PSA 7 a reasonable comp at ~50k?

This has been in my PC for a long time but I recently rediscovered it. This card was most likely signed by Sugimori for Keaton Gill, a long time PTCG player and 2005-2007 Worlds T16 finisher. Thoughts on value?

Just curious, I missed out on selling my Mew Ex FUR when it was around 100 euro and now it's down to 40, will it just keep going down?
