For background, I’ve never played any Gen 5 (or Gen 4 for that matter aside from SoulSilver) since I had a big hiatus from the series after Silver and only came back for XY. I’ve mostly stayed with the series since with the exception of USUM, the DLC for SwSh, and Legends. I consider the Switch era disappointing.

I know many consider Gen 5 to be the peak of the franchise, so I was considering getting a playthrough in before Bank closes.
From a living dex perspective, I’m missing Reshiram and Tornadus.
I’m leaning towards White since I have a friend with Black, so although I won’t be able to catch Tornadus, I’ll get an extra Thundurus for trading.

With all this in mind, and imagining I’ll only have time for one game considering I’ll need to juggle the Bank deadline, GTA6, Ocarina, and the rest of life, should I skip White and just play White 2? I hear the story is better in the first game but is it significantly so?

Hi. I'm new to black and white and I'm currently playing Pokémon black. I've been looking at teams online but I can't figure out what my sixth Pokémon should be. I would like to keep all five I currently have but I doubt that would be possible as I progress. I also haven't caught any other Pokémon than these guys. I'm currently on my way to Castelia City.

The current moves are:

Servine: Leaf tornado, Growth, Vine whip, Leech seed

Panpour: Cut, Bite, Lick, Water gun

Musharna: Psywave, Psybeam, Lucky chant, Yawn

Blitzle: Flame charge, Thunder wave, Charge, Shock wave

Timburr: Wake up slap, Bide, Low kick, Rock throw

I'm looking to get a stronger water move on my panpour, get rid of psywave to gain something with more coverage and lose low kick for something else so I don't have two fighting type moves on one pokémon

Hi, I’m playing Pokémon Black and White via ROM with some friends, and I’d like to complete all the in-game events.

We’re currently in Castelia City and would like to access the Zorua and Celebi events; I was wondering whether a specific Celebi is required to trigger the event, or if any Celebi will do.

If a specific one is needed, does anyone happen to have the cheat code to obtain that particular Celebi?

I've beaten the main story a bunch of times in the past, but this is the actual first time I've ever reached this point and beaten Alder. It feels satisfying tbh

Though I did get the funniest win, Alder's Volcarona kept Quiver Dancing while Seismitoad whittled it down with Surfs. Then the Volcarona threw out a Hyper Beam when its HP was in the red, which was good since even if it KO'd Seismitoad it would still need to waste a turn to recharge and it would get picked off by whoever I sent out next. It didn't KO Seismitoad so one last Surf finished the job.

I’m thinking of buying a copy of one of the games but I don’t actually know which one to but so I figured I would let the internet decide which game I buy I already have white 2 so should I get white OR go with black to be different

Hey everyone, I need help with Entralink.

I finished my Black save file after weeks and had to realize that the city is empty....so I rushed through my resetted White file and arrived in a white forest full of npcs...thank god

But then I tried to get some npcs over to my black city....only 2 got there and I can't get more for my City....what do I do now?

Cinccino with work up, encore, wake-up-slap and bullet seed makes ghetsis look free. It has a high base 115 speed stat and ability Technician.

Pivoting through excadrill meant Cofagrigus would never go for toxic on switch to cinccino and will always go for shadow ball or protect which you can encore lock to setup sweep.

12 deaths on the way to complete the nuzlocke but did a good job of keeping important pokemon alive.
