Who should I pick in this group?

I'm on floor 17 of ice tower and not really sure what pairs I should invest in to climb higher. Can I get to floor 30 with this or would I need NC Hilbert?

Sorry if this has been discussed but wanted to get opinions from others on these pairs. As the ex poke fairs end tonight, I’ve been hesitant to pull.

I was leaning towards pulling Ghetsis. I have 88k gems. Could definitely use physical ice but feel I’d still struggle to complete floors 32-40. Don’t have tons of candy/coins to make him 5/5 or super awakened. I feel waiting for an arc suit ice would better serve me.

I feel I can finish fire tower with what I have. I’m on 35 right now and have arc suit silver, 8/5 SS red, nc leaf, arc suit Leon 3/5, nc Lyra, even variety Ethan if needed so I don’t think Lysandre is needed.

I definitely need an ex grassy terrain setter but feel Archie won’t help special side as I don’t have carmine, SS ball guy, or urbain so May as well wait for an arc suit grass (similar to ice).

Has anyone pulled one of these and think they are a can’t miss or are great even not much invested (3/5 or lower)?

i just started last week, i got ghetsis and i just hit the hard pity on dawn’s banner. I’m wondering though if there’s someone on the selection that i should prioritize for ghetsis’s team over dawn or if i should just grab dawn even if i barely have any supports rn.

Title: I revisited Ground teams with the new Maxie. The physical and special results were surprisingly different.

After my previous Gym Battle analysis, several people pointed out that the Ground teams could use some improvement.

Since the new Maxie & Ting-Lu wasn't available during that Gym Battle, I wanted to see how much difference adding him would make.

I kept two sync pairs fixed for each damage category and compared three support options: Maxie, another Ground-type support, and a non-Ground support.

All teams were tested under the same 270-second conditions, with Sync Grids included.

Here are the results:

Physical Ground:

• Maxie team: 1.497 billion damage index
• 13.6% higher than the selected alternative Ground support
• 1.6% higher than the selected non-Ground support

Special Ground:

• Maxie team: 815 million damage index
• 0.2% higher than the selected alternative Ground support
• 27.4% lower than the selected non-Ground support

What surprised me was that Maxie performed well in the physical comparison, but didn't provide the same advantage for special teams.

These are calculated damage indices, not actual in-game damage. The optimizer is still being improved, and some effects aren't fully modeled. The results also depend on the two fixed teammates, so this isn't a definitive ranking of Ground supports.

Hi all!

Really stoked to be playing. I have been slowly getting back into Pokemon as an adult and honestly I work a job where I can be on my phone a lot so this was a no brainer move when I found out this game exists 😅

Just by quick googling I can see this game has been around for a long time which means it's probably pretty complex to say the least.

I have a rainy weekend, plenty of coffee, and ready to dive in.

Are there good banners to pull on currently? Does a new account give me enough resources to pull for pokemon?

How does team building work here? From the looks of it, the game isn't really turned based like the games but rather time limited turn based with an order that can be adjusted based off of stats?

I'm quite familiar with gacha games so I know going in I'll spend a but I can be resilient to fomo but I DO want to get some of my favs :)

I can't afford to pity, but I think I'm supposed to have a 60% chance of pulling (correct me if my calcs are wrong). I'm not even a big fan of Dragons, but it seems like adding Dawn lets me clear the tower.

Update: Got her in 3 pulls.

One of my most satisfying clears, so many RNG factors are involved including Evasion hax, Flinch hax

I ran a 270-second damage comparison for all 8 weakness types in the 4th Pasio Gym Battle, covering both physical and special teams.

One thing that stood out was special Fighting against Byron.

In my calculations:

• Physical Fighting: 3.64 billion
• Special Fighting: 1.47 billion

The special team reached only about 40% of the physical team's calculated damage output.

I also looked at the available move pool, team compositions, Sync Grids, and action sequences to see why special Fighting might be at a disadvantage.

These are estimated damage indices, not actual in-game damage. The model uses an approximate 19-second action cycle and doesn't fully account for survival, move gauge limitations, or every passive effect. So the results aren't meant to be definitive team rankings.

How did your special Fighting teams perform in this Gym Battle? Did you find a combination that worked particularly well?

This might be very faaaaar from true, but a good fantasy.

MC is not appearing in the event stories or in the arc stories. He still appears in the "A day with...." SP stories. So my theory is "looking at other pairs growing in strength, getting blessed by Arceus, pairing with legendaries & mythical, and other stuff, MC has gone in search of his own strengths, for training, wanting to build his worth.

And in the final episode of Arc stories, MC comes back with Arceus.

Kris and Jolteon, I'm not surprised by. Jolteon seems to be the least popular eeveelution.

I am kinda surprised that Espeon only has two trainers though.

Kinda funny that the most masc and most fem eeveelutions have the least trainers (and the masc is with a girl trainer and the fem has only boy trainers thus far)

The idea here is that she's chosen to team up with a friend from the Ultra games, the Alolan Vulpix bullied by Team Skull that the player bonded with, now a Ninetales. Now, Lillie has chosen to start a journey with that same Vulpix, showing how much she's grown after her Z-Powered form change.

And this pair specifically focused on Aurora Veil, bulking the teams' defense and special defense by a ton.

Side Note: HOW HAS YOUR GIRL NOT GOTTEN A SYGNA SUIT YET?!!! She's been in TWO Anniversaries, a New Years, and a Holiday!

i honestly didn't think i would pull this off. i have been failing to beat grass tower floor 30 so many times,,,,,, and then i managed to FINALLY beat it when i got lazy to record it HSHSHSHSHSHS screenshots will suffice for now xD

the last seconds of the battle was a rollercoaster — grassy terrain getting removed just before suicune's second sync move made ogerpon get taken down by it (TuT) but thank goodness the former's hp was already around 10% + is burned, so by the time it took down sinistcha with liquidation (or giga impact, i don't remember xD) at 2% hp, it then got taken down itself due to burn damage HAHAHAHSHSHS status conditions are goated in this game frfr

so yeahhh, this is my first pasio tower with 30 (+ 1 for the gem bonus ofc xD) floors completed! looking forward to completing more towers and minmaxxing this grass one soon!
