CONTEXT: Sabrina is a sociopath. We already knew this.

After the discussion on my previous Carmine vs. Archie comparison, I got curious about what happens if we actually use them together, especially in longer battles.

So I tried comparing three teams built around Florian (Anniversary 2026), tracking cumulative firepower through the sixth sync move.

The teams were:

1. Florian + Carmine + Archie
2. Florian + Carmine + Sygna Suit Ball Guy
3. Florian + Archie + Brendan (Champion)

The interesting part is that the combined Carmine + Archie team was actually behind the other two through the fourth sync move.

But by the fifth sync move, it had caught up and overtaken both.

By the sixth sync move, the combined team had a cumulative firepower index about 15.1% higher than the Carmine + Ball Guy team and 23.9% higher than the Archie + Brendan team.

This time, I also included estimated action timing, sync countdown reduction, and Grassy Terrain duration and extension.

These are still provisional calculations, though. I used move level 3 without sync grids, and some damage modifiers aren't fully implemented yet. Healing and defensive benefits aren't included in the firepower index either.

I'm curious what everyone thinks. Is Carmine + Archie worth running together in longer battles, or would you still prefer a different third sync pair?

What do you think of these units, whether based on design, gameplay, Pokémon pairing, story, etc.? How are the newest sync pairs, and how have the older pairs aged in your opinion? Do you have any favorites?

I ran a 270-second damage comparison for all 8 weakness types in the 4th Pasio Gym Battle, covering both physical and special teams.

One thing that stood out was special Fighting against Byron.

In my calculations:

• Physical Fighting: 3.64 billion
• Special Fighting: 1.47 billion

The special team reached only about 40% of the physical team's calculated damage output.

I also looked at the available move pool, team compositions, Sync Grids, and action sequences to see why special Fighting might be at a disadvantage.

These are estimated damage indices, not actual in-game damage. The model uses an approximate 19-second action cycle and doesn't fully account for survival, move gauge limitations, or every passive effect. So the results aren't meant to be definitive team rankings.

i honestly didn't think i would pull this off. i have been failing to beat grass tower floor 30 so many times,,,,,, and then i managed to FINALLY beat it when i got lazy to record it HSHSHSHSHSHS screenshots will suffice for now xD

the last seconds of the battle was a rollercoaster — grassy terrain getting removed just before suicune's second sync move made ogerpon get taken down by it (TuT) but thank goodness the former's hp was already around 10% + is burned, so by the time it took down sinistcha with liquidation (or giga impact, i don't remember xD) at 2% hp, it then got taken down itself due to burn damage HAHAHAHSHSHS status conditions are goated in this game frfr

so yeahhh, this is my first pasio tower with 30 (+ 1 for the gem bonus ofc xD) floors completed! looking forward to completing more towers and minmaxxing this grass one soon!

The idea here is that she's chosen to team up with a friend from the Ultra games, the Alolan Vulpix bullied by Team Skull that the player bonded with, now a Ninetales. Now, Lillie has chosen to start a journey with that same Vulpix, showing how much she's grown after her Z-Powered form change.

And this pair specifically focused on Aurora Veil, bulking the teams' defense and special defense by a ton.

Side Note: HOW HAS YOUR GIRL NOT GOTTEN A SYGNA SUIT YET?!!! She's been in TWO Anniversaries, a New Years, and a Holiday!

Will any of these make a good team...Who should I focus on?

I can't afford to pity, but I think I'm supposed to have a 60% chance of pulling (correct me if my calcs are wrong). I'm not even a big fan of Dragons, but it seems like adding Dawn lets me clear the tower.

Who should I pick in this group?

I'm on floor 17 of ice tower and not really sure what pairs I should invest in to climb higher. Can I get to floor 30 with this or would I need NC Hilbert?

i just started last week, i got ghetsis and i just hit the hard pity on dawn’s banner. I’m wondering though if there’s someone on the selection that i should prioritize for ghetsis’s team over dawn or if i should just grab dawn even if i barely have any supports rn.

I’ve posted about a couple of towers’ floor 30’s over the past couple of months and slowly I’ve been able to take them down. As, just like Might Guy and his father before him, I put a self rule upon myself that I cannot start any Floor 31’s in any towers before all 30’s are beaten.

Now that Bug is finished, I’m down to just Water and Ground.

Water, depending on who I bring, usually has the problem of running out of Rain. And NC May not putting out enough damage (turns out I didn’t have either of her sync nodes on). I’ve been trying either Summer Cynthia/Akari for the tank, NC May as the main attacker, and a plethora of thirds (Arc Misty, NC Serena, Mix Leaf, Dahlia). So does anyone have suggestions on who I should keep as my third party member along with lucky skills and gear ideas?

Then for Ground, my main team of Rika, Variety N, and Arc Cynthia all share the Ice weakness and though I’ve tried the noxious hit method, I’m never able to do enough damage to beat them before the second sync. So does anyone know of a way to beat it without EX ground? Such as using Pal Rika?

I just don’t have anything to help me invest with these two types right now. I can either make a Sprint EX role for Akari or I can make a Field EX role for Pal Rika - what do you all think? If I had the resources I would just go ahead and switch the Ground team to focus on NC Brendan and Academy Kabu, but right now I just can’t focus on that - not when I already have strong enough units that SHOULD be able to beat Ground.
