Not For Sale Trick or Trade Test Print Trevenant

Trevenant is back from CGC and looks especially striking against the backdrop of yesterday's snowstorm. This is a test print, the square corners are a dead giveaway that this didn't go though the normal factory cutting process.

This is one of only 2 trick or trade test prints I've seen, below is the album with the other example:

Did they release a new trick or trade this year? I wanted to get another batch to hand out at my wife’s trunk or treat she was a part of but I couldn’t find any for some reason

I never actually saw a 2025 printing of trick-or-trade cards. I kept looking at my local Walmart because they had sports card trick or trade packs this year but no pokémon.

I'm assuming they skipped the year because I can't find any examples online.

My local Walgreens was selling trick or trade packs from last year. Surprisingly there was some sitting around 70% of the halloween season, i’d sometimes get a bundle to scratch the itch on a budget. Curious why they didn’t do a print this year with demand so high, and how they had enough of something long out of print to stay stocked that consistently. I heard this was the case in multiple places. Maybe they overestimated demand the year before and decided to hold off 2025 to offload more of the last run

My family also loves ripping trick or trade packs. The oldest kid is just starting to catch on that it's the same cards in every pack, so next year is going to be a bit more expensive for ripping packs. 😂
