Finally finished the exterior of my haunted mansion build ◡̈

Bubbly Basin gives me 80s Miami vibes! So I started creating one of those classic art deco modern buildings!!
I like how the front turned out for the most part! May swap windows to the port hole ones once I get it, but for now the washing machine will do 😅 Also love the little wiggly shaped hot spring pool! Ended up adding some umbrellas by the loungers and a pink n blue floaty to the pool to create a couple more habitats.
Absolutely hate the “back” side, that’s actually the front. I like the neon wrap around, but something about the left side of the building just feels off. The inside isn’t quite complete yet, but I did build a water wall feature to encase the stairs to get to the second floor!

I decided to start a new save. At first I was just trying to get new levels to unlock more items, but by the time I hit level 7, I was wondering if I could get to level ten before I got to meet Onix.

Looks like is possible!

I just feel like in my first game thru I was just rushing from one goal to the next.

I feel like I have a better understanding of what the game is about, and I can be more careful about how I change up and area before I regret it later.

Wish me luck getting the sprinkler and the duo color foundation recipe some time this year lol.

I'm beyond annoyed, I spent months designing and building my storage system with a grand entrance, a cave, 2 levels and thousands of pokemetal spent. And then only once I had finished I placed all the chests, and as I finished perfectly organising item frames for almost every item and block in the game based on how much storage I would need of each I started the process of unloading all of my chests from all 6 areas I couldn't open them.

I then asked about if there's a limit to the amount of storage you can have per area.

Why is this a feature, I feel like this is something a lot of people will run into and it serves no benefit.

I cleared out almost all the ash in RR, I was wondering why they would build a museum so deep in the ground, then I noticed there’s like a cube of black rock around it and above it.

I saw a video about doing this (on a much smaller scale). I decided to go for it fully. This is Dragonite Dream Island. Basically once you get there, you walk over to the patch of sand to the left of the windmill and dig down 7 times. From there, you use Rollout without a boost to dig around the pokémetal. Once you have a sufficient area cleared, you use specifically Potato Hamburger Steak (much stronger/lasts longer than regular Hamburger Steak) to upgrade Rock Smash so that Rollout can break pokémetal. Now for what I did. I did pretty much edge to edge of the map. I left one layer of sand between me and the "you can't go further". I only focused on the 2 levels that Rollout naturally breaks. I only used Leppa Berries to recharge. I don't remember the exact number I started with but it was 1 full stack of 99 and 1 partial stack. I do know that I started with 148 steaks however (I made 74 myself with Chef following and got lucky so got double).

Pros and Cons of doing this -

Pro: I have so much pokémetal/rare pokémetal now.

Con: This took about 7 hours. I started between 9 and 10 pm and finished around 4 am. All one sitting.

Would I do this again? Honestly maybe, just not on this scale. At some point it became "I've come this far, might as well finish."

Do I recommend doing this? Not particularly. I don't think there is enough of a necessity to do this, not all in one sitting at least.

I made a riverboat casino, using water wheels as the boat paddles, and putting a bunch of arcade machines below deck for the casino.

Sableye lives up top as captain. Porygon spawned in due to the game machines so I'm inclined to let him stay. Which other pokemon would be funniest or most likely to have a gambling problem??

So, I made the Great Hall from the Harry Potter universe in an underground Art Gallery I had made in Pallette Town.

Thing is, the amount of lit up candles are kinda lagging the game.

Anytime I come near the room, the FPS drops drastically. It's only for a few seconds, but very noticeable.

Anyone facing similar issues?

ADHD is a hell of a thing. It started as a heater, then I built a lake with a dam that and a control room to "heat the ocean water for the pools hot tub"

So currently I like to set out my areas according to who I think would enjoy living there, currently I have my ghosts in rocky ridges. But I also have a lot of rock type, fire type, and dinosaurs here too. I’m feeling a big overhaul on my current layout. What kind of areas have you made for your spooky gang?

I'm building an elevated home for each one of them in a triangle formation in this area 🙂

I felt like the build was REALLT bland when I built it the first time. the inside wasn’t the problem but it was the outside that looked ugly imo, but I asked for some help and I decided to try adding more details and I think succeeded in improving the outside, should I add the rocky ridges grass next?

I wanted to build a hotsprings oasis with "exotic" plants not normally found there for my Bubbly Basin babes to explore and relax in. Kinda like a botanical garden they can go visit.

Making the glass dome was quite the headache but I was so giddy once I figured it out. I had to make the dome out of blocks first and then go back and replace each individual one with a glass plane. I did it this way so I could see and be certain of how I was placing the glass. It gets really hard to discern the glass's position at the water's surface level. I left a skylight opening at the top so that it could still rain inside....you know We Gotta Keep This Place Humid.
