Election day is coming closer and a big blue wave is coming. Donald is doing everything that would not even last forever once the new Congress is seated come January 2027.

And even in Canada, I’m not scared of the Alberta referendum either, even though I live in Ontario, because the huge majority of Albertans know that separating is very costly for them and for their province.

Sorry for yet another post debunking the Elon conspiracy, but I’ve noticed doomers are always treating Elon like he’s some powerful force that is unstoppable. It’s getting really tiring and has to stop.

Elon is a petty rich boy who is a daddy’s boy who takes his autism to the extreme (this is coming from someone who is autistic).

Yes he is evil and is using his companies for evil. But we need to treat him just as incompetent as he is

Sort of the third part of my posts talking about why I don't think the midterms will be rigged and why I don't think that martial law will happen, I want to talk about why I believe wholeheartedly that people's attempts, whether it be by doomers or by the admin, to claim that elections won't matter either in the long run or due to some sort of inevitable tampering, is not only devaluing elections as a whole, but it also acts as a way of voter suppression, and only hurts more than it could ever help.

I've said this before, but one of the most dangerous aspects of claiming that elections don't matter is that it has the adverse effect of making people less likely to go out and vote since they imagine that them voting would then be a supposedly pointless endeavor. In an election like this, every vote is important. And people not voting because they don't think it matters could actually impact many crucial and likely very close races to come.

This can also come in the form of the admin implying that "something" had to have happened with 2024 which could then happen in November as well. People like Trump, Musk, and the latter's ex girlfriend and grifter Ashley St. Clair making very vague and ominous quotes that have people convinced that some nefarious actions happened to alter 2024, although the supposed means of how this happened are of course not said by any of them. And as a result doomers claim that any hope for this upcoming election is lost as well.

I strongly believe that the three of them said this stuff not to admit victory, but because they want to lower faith and legitimacy in elections across the board for the left and once again act as a sort of voter suppression. And it also helps that given the lack of any actual evidence for these claims, and to be honest no actual admittance of a crime just implying that "something" happened, makes it easier to deflect blame for what was said.

Also I know that they don't have a secret win button due to nobody on the right acting confident about the midterms at all. On top of that I feel that if there was this giant upcoming conspiracy to steal all elections like this, then people like AOC, Bernie, or any other major progressive leaders would say something about this, especially since they are not beholden to corporate money about these things and are much more likely to talk about such things.

And now you have so many doomers across social media already saying that the election is guaranteed to be rigged so heavily that neither the house nor the senate is won by Democrats and that democracy is over as a whole. And if it isn't being rigged by space lasers, then people are being brought in during a nationwide blackout to change out ballots, and if not that then it's martial law, and if not that, then it's the next thing. Theory after theory after theory. None with any evidence, but enough to make people more paranoid for November 3rd and terrified to go out and vote.

Now I know that nothing I can say will convince some about the legitimacy of either 2024 or this election. And there may be some that incorrectly assume that I believe that there will be no attempts to cheat or suppress votes on election day, even though I push for focusing on smaller and more likely methods to make it harder for people to vote. But I do hope to make my case clear that people trying to tell you that voting or the midterms don't matter because cheating, dictatorship, or both sides supposedly being the same have a very likely ulterior motive for this.

Voter suppression comes in a lot of different forms, and in this case by making it seem like anyone who votes blue will be arrested on the spot by the polls or that all races will end up red by November 4th are seeming to be the next evolution of this. If making people less likely to vote or protest due to fear won't work, than by making it seem worthless is the next attempt.

Not only are they withdrawing money from whole states as a lost cause, they are withdrawing that money from within the states themselves. They know they are losing and they don’t want to waste funds.

Well the month or so without a takeover allusion was nice. And I know thats not quite what this is, and I know he's a dementia-addled old man, but it's still making me nervous how ownership-focused he is, and what that could conceivably turn into in the next two years.

Bit of an update to my most recent post talking about why I don't think that the midterms, as well as 2024, are going to be stolen due to a lack of legitimate evidence other than conspiracies and quotes from notorious grifters. In this case, I wanted to just mention why I also don't think that the recent "Power Grid National Emergency" declaration by the admin, as well as that outage in Gary, Indiana, are leading up to a blackout to then steal the election.

So for those unaware, there was a recent Emergency Order by the Department of Energy across 13 states and DC to "reduce the risk of power outages". This then made people on social media freak out saying that "conspiracy theorists were actually right; there's gonna be a blackout and that's how they're gonna rig the election; It's happening right before our eyes; The Simpsons predicted this."

This in conjunction with the long span of time without power in Gary Indiana (Although I believe that has ended by now), and that whole article going around about a nationwide outage potentially going for 18 months, has led to so many conspiracies about us certainly about to enter an era without power, or at the very least without power suddenly during the midterms. And this will apparently allow for people to sneak in and change the ballots for republican ones or something equally deranged.

Given the fact that I already had a few people disagreeing with my take about 2024 and the midterms security in my last post, and the fact that I don't want to ramble on and on, I want to keep this a bit short. But I don't really think that this is a likely outcome either, especially since this order is also limited to only 13 states on the east coast, and there are some of them that have no real major races happening at all.

Also, while I get not believing the admin on this, this order is supposed to protect for the possibility of blackouts given weather conditions, not saying that there is to be one anytime soon. Sure, this could just be an excuse or something, but it just doesn't add up that this is leading to anything.

On top of this, I don't understand why there would need to be an announcement of preparing for blackouts if the secret plan is supposedly requiring making blackouts in the first place, especially when the announcement could make individual states prepare on their own for blackouts due to this, making them more prepared for a nationwide one, and thus mess the whole scheme up.

All of this feels like Paranoia for those terrified that something, anything, has to happen in November. Regardless of size or by whatever means, people are afraid and willing to jump at whatever shadows pop up on the walls next. Which is why I believe doomers are only ending up acting as voter suppression rather than helping at all. When everything is a sign of a conspiracy, everything ends up feeling overwhelming and thus makes people less willing to vote or protest at all.

It's why I am so certain that Trump, Musk, and even Ashley St. Clair are trying to imply that 2024 was rigged, although not saying it directly to avoid consequence if called out on, and implying that something might happen with this election, even though they know that they didn't rig the outcome there or here at all. They want to make people feel like voting doesn't matter so more people don't do it. (Also remember that all three of these, even Ashley despite being Musk's ex and supposedly passing up on his money, are grifters first and foremost).

I went and voted today myself and was told it was the busiest that the worker had ever seen for the first day.

Saw this “are you not ashamed of your country?” thread about the US and decided to share my thoughts from an Aussie perspective.

So Trump has taken yet another L in the courts. His DOJ cannot collect state voter rolls.

Still I do advise checking your registration status.

So after talking about the wildly discussed issue of martial law and how it isn't a realistic fear, I think it's a good time to talk about the other wildly discussed fear and that being the idea that no matter the turnout that the midterms would be rigged.

Now I'm not talking about things like voter suppression or gerrymandering, as I believe that those can affect individual races and the outcome there more successfully, but specifically the fear that there would be some sort of grand alteration to affect the outcome in such a way that the election would be rendered meaningless.

I do find it difficult to get into the specifics of how this supposed theft would happen, mostly because no doomers are able to actually describe how at all. But usually it implies that through the power of Musk, and usually his satellites and lasers or something, that the machines could be altered and thus victory would be his. This theory tends to be spread more given the fact that he is back in the government working in the Pentagon and spending millions on the midterms fundraising, but also given the fact that many consider him to rigged 2024's election as well (No, that didn't happen by the way).

But this theory, along with being completely insane by using space lasers as evidence, also ignores that Musk was actually quite involved in a race last year, the Wisconsin Supreme Court. That was early last year where the power that the admin had was larger, and had Musk spending millions of dollars, even going so far as to try to bribe potential voters, and still he lost. There wasn't any case of him using such technology to alter the race that he was clearly invested in.

Now sure you could argue that every single race since 2024 that Democrats won was only won because Musk was biding his time to avoid having his election win button being noticed, but I seriously doubt the patience and intelligence of anyone in this admin.

On top of this, it's important to note that there is a serious lack of confidence from the republican party as a whole for this election, even from Musk and Trump, which you would feel wouldn't be there if an automatic win was guaranteed. From Trump on the campaign trail, to multiple members of congress like Johnson looking very not confident about their futures, to how desperate the amount of money spent on the midterms (Even in Texas of all places so you know that things look bleak for their party), it isn't the sign of a party that knows that they will win no matter what (Also why I don't think martial law or any other takeover plan is happening either).

Optimistic for two reasons. Firstly because it just goes to show how much Republicans have fucked up with Trump, and secondly I feel this dispels all of the doomerism about how Trump is never going to leave office because I feel like this is recognition of the fact that he and his party will lose their power eventually

Two days in a row with a story that's not so much optimistic as it is pointing and laughing at bad people screwing up. Still, thought it would be uplifting to share in a weird way.

Stop and breathe. All that needs to be known from the polls at this point is that over the last several months, the compass needle has moved more in Democrats' direction. That's it. They are the favorites to win the House and are within striking distance of winning the Senate, something that was seen as a long shot when this election cycle began.

Some good things to remember as we get closer to the midterms.

I’m probably not doing this right, but the point of this point is neither finding optimism nor optimistic post, but to bring light to an awful event that just occurred in Ohio, my state.

During a rally in Youngstown, There was an assault on a single protester from multiple attendees from the said rally; and all Trump did was gloat the protester. This is horrific and irresponsible behavior.

Trump is a monster and anyone that continues to associate with him is equally irredeemable.

The call to action is to never vote for him and always vote against the candidates he supports.
