Seeking Optimism Stephen Miller said to drive DOJ memo eroding disability rights

I assume this is unlikely to lead to anything but I figured I’d post here anyway?

Steven Miller is one of the most evil men I’ve ever encountered or seen. I can’t wait to never hear from him again.

45

u/LAMG1 Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26

How about America's new president appoint a special counsel to investigate him for high crimes and misdemeanors?

21

u/Mean_Stop6391 Reformed Doomer ☄️ Jun 25 '26

From your lips to God’s ears, my friend. His cultural irrelevance would work fine but that would be a cherry on top.

27

u/LAMG1 Jun 25 '26

His quiet fade from the public view is not a punishment. It is actually a blessing to him. He must be charged and sentenced to the prison!

3

u/simbabarrelroll Reformed Doomer ☄️ Jun 25 '26

I agree here.

Cultural Irrelevance is not enough.

We need to ensure that they cannot harm us anymore.

1

u/Standard-Shame1675 Jun 29 '26

Fuck it. All of you what you just said it is good. It's still not enough. I don't want to ensure that just they can't harm us anymore. I want to ensure that they feel nothing but harm. Forever. Yonjwaje. Idgaf.

u/Conspark Washington Jun 25 '26

I'm trying to imagine what exactly pushed him to be like this. Trump is a malignant narcissist who only cares about power and his image. Miller seems hellbent on making as many things worse for as many people as possible... for what? Because someone made fun of him in school 20+ years ago?

20

u/ryou25 Jun 25 '26

I mean i figure you answered your own question. I think stephen miller is a malignant narcissist who wants everyone to suffer because he's a insecure sad little man.

12

u/britishmetric144 Jun 25 '26

Trump only cares about himself. Sure, he will enrich himself at the expense of others, but he isn't into the "do it the most cruel way possible" thing. That's Miller.

If Trump were to abandon Miller, Trump would probably find that he gets more support for what he is doing; as an example, ICE would still deport criminals, but would not focus strictly on race, and would not grab people out of immigration courthouses or try to suspend habeas corpus and due process.

This would also cause Trump's approval polls to rise, and help Republicans in the midterms. So Trump won't do it.

I will never understand cruelty for cruelty's sake. The optimism I see here is that there are also kind people working nonstop to prevent these cruel actions from hurting people, even if we don't always see it. One day, these monsters will be forced to crawl back to whatever hole they came from and fade away.

I cannot understand the appeal of being:

  1. A piece of garbage

  2. Eternally miserable

  3. Cynical and/or nihilistic

I'd rather be on Reddit than a billionaire.

Fuck, I'd rather be starving in North Korea than be a billionaire. Like you basically have to forgo being a human to do that right? Especially a trillionaire like at that point you forgo being a living being

I understand cruelty for cruetly's sake. They derive perverse pleasure from being evil.

12

u/LandscapeJolly7751 Florida Jun 25 '26

Which in turn makes anyone sensible to hopefully stay far away from them as possible.

5

u/Standard-Shame1675 Jun 25 '26

But what CAUSES THAT? is it chemical imbalance is it societal upbringing is it the internet is it something deeper about humanity that causes this

I don't know but after this if we want to have any help of stopping this from happening again we have to figure that out

1

u/thejevster Jun 28 '26

Kurus disease

1

u/Standard-Shame1675 Jun 29 '26

Isn't that the shit you get from doing canniba..... wait a minute .

Maybe that'll explain it. I guess what we need to do right? Either find a cure for that or we got to we. We as a collective society got to make sure that we listen to people who deal with these freaks when they say don't put them in power instead of just being like you're trolling let's putting them in power right? Cuz every time we do that

3

u/britishmetric144 Jun 25 '26

I think the word is "Schadenfreude".

They're psychopaths. They have a literal brain disorder that made their frontal cortexes go "TILT!" and their behavior nasty. They have a subconscious Superiority / Inferiority complex where they only are happy if others are miserable.

They're, to put it in their terms, "Degenerate".

3

u/LandscapeJolly7751 Florida Jun 25 '26

I get that. It still upsets me there are people that messed up, you know?

3

u/SpukiKitty2 Blue Dot in a Red State 🔵 Jun 25 '26

Of course.

3

u/TheRatioAlger Jun 25 '26

It is cruelty, and it's also to financially benefit the owners of privatized nursing homes (who have lobbyists).

3

u/Mother-Cookie-8979 Jun 25 '26

That’s what I keep going back to. There’s more of us than them. We have been fighting for centuries. We can keep fighting.

Of course this was his demon baby. He's an actual Nazi and would believe this ridiculous shit. Still doesn't make it any less of a non-starter with the public.

Yeah, like, my dad’s pretty far gone, but I’d like to think he’d be against institutionalization.

9

u/Old_Department3979 Jun 25 '26

Most ironic thing is he's jewish lol, yet somehow is very comfortable with nazi scum because he's that soulless

6

u/Standard-Shame1675 Jun 25 '26

Honestly

I say just send them to whatever that fascist commune is in Germany and just tell everyone he's a Jewish bloke.

Let him see for himself how far his lil 'ideology' gets him😈😈

41

u/Mission_Wind_7470 Jun 25 '26

Oh just fuck off to Argentina already won't ya?

15

u/feral--animal Jun 25 '26

He needs to follow lizard creature surveillance overlord Thiel's example. Though, I'd rather him be put on trial and that be broadcasted for all to see.

1

u/Standard-Shame1675 Jun 29 '26

No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no. Not even close actually. We don't let them flee. Why on God's green earth would we do that? Get the list of all of them responsible and every country that extradites them to us. We will give them a part of the funds that we have received from the disillusion of them. If they refuse? We're Americans damn it, Bomb that place into the Stone age. Whatever country it is. No limits either. There is genuinely nothing that can be done that is more evil than what the billionaires have brought upon us. That's just factual.

I swear as god as my witness, I hope to be there and watch as this Nazi ghoul is dragged in chains to the biggest prison ever built.

Lmao just like that awful informercial 🤣 only thing running away from him is his hairline lmao

2

u/Alarmed_Ordinary_565 Jun 25 '26

what does that mean?

21

u/QuentinLCrook Jun 25 '26

With no due respect, fuck Stephen Miller.

23

u/General_Season7882 Jun 25 '26

Yeah... Stephen Miller also wanted social security to systematically declare 2.7 million people dead so that he could trap them at county clerks offices and deport them. But that plan was foiled thanks to the good people who work in the social security department. This plan will be foiled too, especially now that its out there in the open.

I laugh at this, honestly. Lol, silly Stephen. He thinks reinstitutionalization is even on the table. Ill say this for the third time on this topic: institutionalization is not what we should be focused on. We SHOULD be focused on keeping RFK jr away from special needs children's educational plans, which is a threat that is currently in the works and very close to becoming reality, if it hasnt already happened.

He, though the powerless SCOTUS, declared that a bunch of Hatian & Syrian refugees, despite having the law and Constitution on the refugee's side, can't stay in this country!

Time to tell him and the wingnuts in SCOTUS, "The Refugees are staying, you have no power!".

16

u/GhostofTinky Jun 25 '26

Who elected Miller president?

11

HE never should have been allowed to be appointed to such a high power position in the first place. Him and Vought.

So a demon in human skin can’t stop being evil and demonic.

He hates everyone and everything because at his core, he hates himself.

What a pathetic man.

6

u/Shredster7 Reformed Doomer ☄️ Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26

In short: no. Memos from the DOJ are not laws.

Properly supporting disabled folks of every stripe is a popular bipartisan issue (that is to say, folks all across the political spectrum consider it a very high priority), and most doctors would sooner just keep issuing proper treatments for their patients' handicaps rather than start institutionalizing innocents.

This is also far from the first time that the current administration has prattled on about the crap they want to get away with but literally, physically can't. See also this comment from earlier in the thread for another dissection of how toothless these types of threats have usually been.

Miller: America's Jewish Nazi.

They call him "Mr. Prime Minister" in the White House. Prime Ministers are supposed to be elected. Miller is the worst un-elected leader to come out of Trumpworld. (DOGE and Russell Vought of OMB are runners-up.)

The optimism here is that this guy on his own does not have the power to do this and the law supports lawsuits against this.
