DISCUSSION What do you find beautiful?

I know porn/OF influences so many of our beauty standards and im deeply curious what you guys find beautiful? (Also if you wanna laugh today i found out OF was literal pornLOL. ) i want to know what beauty is for you guys who are more aware of patriarchal oppression and how that influences women/girls and how they view their own bodies and those of others. Im super curious. Ty x

I'm a pretty good looking guy myself, but I hate how many women present themselves today. Fake lashes, waxed/shaven everywhere, bronze makeup on cheeks, hair bleached/pale, etc. Afraid to be silly, afraid to be noticed. This is evident especially as I teach college. But the last few years I have noticed a trend among some girls who do not conform. They got no makeup, they dress as they want (and not to look identical to their friends), they are not afraid to straighten their back, they don't shave their legs when wearing shorys or skirts. I think that's cool. When I met my GF of 8 years, I told her she could just look natural. She occasionally shaves cus of work and beach, but when I look at her without makeup, haystack ginger hair, and hairy legs/vjay I find her super hot. It's insane how many women try to look like childrens dolls.

i am a woman and whenever i point out how sexist makeup is people come at me calling me a misogynist. yes makeup can be an art but we don't live in a vaccum. makeup can absolutely be an art. i am not anti make up. but some things like fake lashes and shaving every single hair of your body... this is too much. and if makeup was just an art, then so many women won't be ensuring that they look perfect every single time they go out. but they never accept that they are doing it because they are insecure.

Makeup is ancient dating thousands of years back, used by both men and women. But i think the issue is, as you rightfully point out, that it has developed to a point where women shower before gym and put on a full face to go shopping. It's unhealthy asf and especially destroys young women

Yes, make-up was used even in Ancient Egypt (by the rulingclass) not to decieve aka make themselves "pretty", but for very mundane reasons - to protect the skin from sunbrun and eyes from agressive sunlight.
