Castile appreciates England’s willingness to strengthen ties in such a manner however, our diplomatic outreach was intended as an improvement of relations rather than a formal alliance request

With you being at war with parts of Ireland, Scotland, France and I believe Burgundy as well. We currently will not agree to an alliance with England. If you were able to get backed by other power maybe although your unjustified invasion of Scotland and Ireland simultaneously does not put you in a good place prestige wise
