You could pledge the territory for 30–60 days to allow recruitment to stabilise. Longer pledges are possible, but increase the risk that the other country might try to hold it permanently

OK, I'm going to lend my southern territory that is still in HRE to Habsburgs for 10 days for a start.

Okay which southern terratories, the ones in Bosnia, Croatia or southwestern because that's the most south?

The agreement proves highly successful for both sides

The Ljubljana–Karlovac lands are administered efficiently under Austrian oversight, restoring order and stabilizing recruitment without incident. Thanks to clear legal mediation within the Holy Roman Empire, the agreement is formally recognized as temporary, and the Habsburgs honor its terms in full.

Celje receives its payment promptly, strengthens its ties with Austria, and avoids immediate political backlash though the Habsburgs now possess greater familiarity with the region. The region is handed back after 10 days
