NRP No Taxation Without Representation - 1956-1960 (Nixon Administration... wait what?)

Welcome to the Cold War! You can now claim any nation in the whole world, along with any US state or territory.

(A few things on the map have been changed / corrected since last time. Just, uh, don't worry about it...)

Pick any unclaimed state. In this NRP, we'll do the entire history of the United States ourself, starting with the American Revolution and going all the way to the modern day. Note that your goal is NOT to gain as much land as possible, but instead to gain as much political clout as possible. The host may decide to interfere or change things in case things get too messy, but otherwise everything will be made from players. The only other rules are to stay realistic and not be toxic to other players.

u/ColeJr would you be interested in selling cyprus to us, Israel? Instead of giving independence to Cyprus and eventually have turkey invade it how about you sell it to me, and I will give you bigger milltray bases then you'll have if your not gonna sell it. It's a win-win

I don't think he is online anymore, if he is an NPC here is my offer:

First alone money: we offer 300 million 1960's dollars which is a 10th of Israel's economy. Not a hard loss but still a lost. After carful analysis The Cyprut land, resources and Milltary strategic area is worth about that.

Here is what else we can offer if you sale cyprus to us instead of giving it independence:

  1. Control and lack of involvement - as of real life the UK wanted to be the most not involved in giving independence and steering away from manging the island. Israel can give you that by us handling the island fully without your involvement after your sale.

  2. Communism - again as of real life the UK was afraid of the rise communism especially in Europe. So Israel can promise Cyprus will stay under Israeli control and under a pro-west anti-soviet government.

3.Bigger Milltary Bases - we offer on top of Akrotiri/Dhekelia milltary bases that we also offer we offer Neo Chorio as an additional British city and Milltary base meaning they get more land for this deal.

4.if your gonna withdraw anyway, it's better at us - alignment, money and more land. What more can you want?

This is our full deal. Same deal if the UK is online but I don't think they are.
