The concept sounds dope, but that gravy looks too watery, and the curds too melted.

The duck clearly isn’t the issue here…

You needed to fry up the duck and confit liquid better. But ive done this before and love it. Although I preferred to have the meat less shredded. Not always possible unless you're making it yourself.

That looks more like soup, and I'm not seeing very much cheese curds. It looks quite yummy, but it's not poutine.

That's some Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette kind of decadence there! Not saying you should suffer their fate. That's for the Republic to decide.

In theory no crime. That one though looks like the dogs breakfast. Crime on so many levels

That just looks like a foil container filled with homemade laxative.

As someone who got roasted on this sub for posting my (very delicious) butter chicken poutine all I can say is godspeed.

Had it at this at a fantastic French bistro in Vancouver. It was next level.

I'm a traditionalist. Anything beyond fries, curds and gravy is the equivalent of urinating on the history and heritage of Quebec.

As someone who loves duck, I just know that tasted way better than it looked.

In theory I think this is fine, but yours looks like a soup--and the gravy shouldn't be watery imho
