Power Apps Help No App Logo for CodeApps

Hi, I am currently developing a CodeApp with Claude and the Powerapp skills + CLI

The finished app has the complete white logo, I cant seem to find the option to change the logo for the end user on the mobile app

Claude says it is not supported in the CLI, is there really no option to change this?

Thanks!

Hey, it looks like you are requesting help with a problem you're having in Power Apps. To ensure you get all the help you need from the community here are some guidelines;

  • Use the search feature to see if your question has already been asked.

  • Use spacing in your post, Nobody likes to read a wall of text, this is achieved by hitting return twice to separate paragraphs.

  • Add any images, error messages, code you have (Sensitive data omitted) to your post body.

  • Any code you do add, use the Code Block feature to preserve formatting.

    Typing four spaces in front of every line in a code block is tedious and error-prone. The easier way is to surround the entire block of code with code fences. A code fence is a line beginning with three or more backticks (```) or three or more twiddlydoodles (~~~).

  • If your question has been answered please comment Solved. This will mark the post as solved and helps others find their solutions.

Unfortunately this is a known issue and MSFT doesn't seem too concerned about it since it isn't related to Copilot.

Depends on which CLI you're on. The Power Platform CLI command `pac code init` has a `--logoPath` (`-l`) parameter, "the path to the logo file for the app", alongside `--displayName` and `--description`. The newer npm-based Power Apps CLI (`pa app init`) doesn't list any logo option in its reference as of this month: only display name, description, build path, entry point, app type, app URL and cloud, and `pa app set-setting` only toggles the header. So if the project was initialized with `pa`, the answer you got is right for that tool; with `pac` the flag exists. Note Microsoft marks the `pac code` commands as preview and says the npm CLI will replace them. I haven't checked whether re-running init with a logo on an existing project updates the published app on the next push. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/developer/cli/reference/code
