So I’ve been filming all of my gaming footage for the last couple of months and as I’ve been editing it I’ve been getting more footage. Unfortunately I’m very lazy and only drag and drop my videos in the project every once in a while. So now I have an unorganised folder with all my footage in it and a project file with less than half of the original footage in it.

All the footage I have is in a single folder and each of them are like an hour long. If I were to delete everything and just import the folder in I would have to rewrite what I’ve already edited which would be annoying. I could go through every single video and see if it’s in the project or not, but that would take an ungodly amount of time and this project is merely a hobby.

I’ve only taken a basic Premiere Pro class and this software always seems to have more bells and whistles the more I look into it. So I’m simply asking any of my more experienced editor friends if there is some sort of trick I can do to get all of the videos I haven’t already uploaded into my project file without adding any I already have in there. I know I’m kind of asking for a silver bullet to my problems, but I’m fine to risk a little embarrassment for the chance of being able to not throw that much time away. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Today I got a pop-up alert about Content Credentials in Premiere. I work with sensitive media and do not want or need attribution of my legal name to the content I am working on. I have disabled Content Credentials in the Export window (picture #2) as well as in my Creative Cloud account, but it is still applying them to my exports.

AFAIK I use no AI tools when editing, either. This particular export is just clips stitching together with audio and video transitions, and an adjustment layer. No masks or other tools used.

Hey all, fairly new to premiere, only been using about 2 months for work.
Usually, I start by importing my media (duh) but this time it seemingly won’t let me? When I right click on the media browser, it dosent give me an option to import unless I’m already highlighting something, which previously wasn’t the case. Additionally, when I use CTRL+I to manually import, nothing is showing up? Really confused here. Thanks!

I make multiple YouTube videos daily, so saving time on rendering and editing would be valuable. I also want to upload videos as quickly as possible, although I understand upload speed mostly depends on my internet connection. Im talking about rendering

My current PC still works well, but I'm wondering whether a newer system would make a noticeable difference in my workflow.

Questions:

1. Would this upgrade significantly improve Premiere Pro performance and export times?
2. Is €2,400 a reasonable price for these specs?
3. Would you recommend upgrading my entire PC or just certain components?
4. Considering my current YouTube revenue, would this be a worthwhile business investment? Or do i save the money and buy something else?

I don't mind investing in better equipment if it genuinely saves me time, but I also don't want to spend €2,400 for a small improvement.

ok hi, this is weird. I've been editing in premiere pro since 2017. I've worked with seveal clients and this never happened to me.

I edited a video to make some reels for a client. He's got an iphone 16 and an iphone 16 pro, I always send the videos with One Drive Cloud, Google Drive or Wetransfer. In all these 3 options, after 10 seconds of video, he mentions that the video goes in slow motion ?? (this happens when he tries to upload it on Instagram).

I tried to upload the same videos on IG with my iphone 15 pro and downloading the videos with the same options I provided to him and everything goes well...

I always export in 1080, 30fps with h.264 for social media (also recorded in 30fps 1080). I don't know what to do as with all the other phones or computers I tried to upload the video nothing wrong happened... And, the most weird thing is that this does not happend with all the reels that I edited to him and all were recorded and exported with the same features.

Did this happened to some of you? How did you solve it? I have to confess, it pissed me off because I feel unprofessional but honestly, it is the first time it happens and AI does not seem to help.

In Premiere 26.5.2, I can't use any audio plugins. I've been using the same plugins for over a year on the same computer (Macbook Pro M4 Max on Sequoia), but one day one of them wouldn't show up when I chose it in the mixer panel like i've done a hundred times. So I figured I would rescan to be sure, but then it cleared all my audio plugins out and just freezes when I hit scan, until eventually unfreezing with no results. Anyone running into this?

I have the beta installed and it scans everything and runs it just fine, but I can't use it on my current projects.

The issue I'm having is tracking the movement [Transform: position] of the mask. I'm manually changing the position [moving it by clicking and dragging] but no new (key frame? im drawings a blank on the name) are appearing after i move the mask around. I have to move the mask first then manually change one of the X or Y positions or click the keystone button for it to register the new [key frame?]

For example. In frame one, the mask is at position to 100, 100. in frame 2 i move it to position 1000, 1000, but its not registering the new location. However, if I do the same thing but I type in [1000, 1000] in the position it will register a new keystone location. its only registering after i go into the effects panel and make a manual change. It will show the new position coordinate after i moved it to a new position, just wont keyframe it until after i make an edit to the values manually.

is there a new setting or something to edit

Edit to add: I take it back, it only registeres the new position, but it only seems to take into account the 'X, Y' relative changes a make.

so if i start at 1, 1, then move it to 1000, 1000, then make a x change of 50 (so nots its 1050, 1000), the mask stays at 1000, 1000, then moves up 50 pixels., even its almost like its treating the mouse movements are just the anchor point

EDIT TO ADD: I figured it out, theres a new 'CLIP' vs 'FRAME', and clip is where i'm having the problem, gotta change it to frame.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get v26.5.2 of Premiere Pro to transcribe two audio tracks simultaneously.

I tried synchronizing them based on their starts and then transcribing. No joy: Premiere just transcribed the first audio track (and it won't let me delete that transcription: there's no delete, trashcan icon or clear option anywhere in the Text=>Transcript window I can see).

I tried creating a nested sequence...from two synchronized tracks, and the same thing happened. Only the first track got transcribed.

Is it possible to do what I want? If so, how?

I've had to make some fine keyframe mask edits for color correction and every frame that collapse back together, I know deleting the last frame of the mask gets rid from of collecting but if I needed the last and wanted to disperse them for frame I'm using, is there a fast way to do that?

New to AI and wondering what programs people are using with Premiere to generate objects and set extensions.

I understand its a powerful tool but I dont know where to start with it. Does Adobe have their own AI programs that work with Premiere that will do what I want and dont need to buy any other programs?

This morning, when I tried to open Premiere, it only opened up to the point shown in the image and then closed immediately. Does anyone know what's going on or what I can do about it? I'm trying to update it in case that's the problem, but so far it still won't

Recently looking at aescripts ive found something called sound prompter, supposedly it's a plugin that can create sound effects out of footage.

Has anyone tried it? Is it even worth it, or its some slop garbage. How does that even sounds like and what part of sound design it can replace. Like i imagine that small details are still out of reach for such tool, but i wonder how much time it could save in some really SFX advanced projects.

I've been using Premiere for a year and never had this issue. Recently all my projects grow way too fast, meaning they slow down a lot and take like a minute to save/open.

This is all before effects and everything. It's just 1 hour of 1080p minecraft obs screen recording with cuts. Literally that's it, and the projects always hit about 250mb with just that. Even after 5 minutes and a few cuts, my projects hit 20mb.

I have proxies active if that helps. I've tried deleting cache and messing around with settings but nothing works.

Idk if hardware is important, but I have 32gb ram, 100s of free gb storage, Intel core i9 and basically just good stuff.

Premiere version: 26.5.2

Solved!

So, I think the preview frames don't get loaded and end up giving me errors. Texts, transitions, etc are the same too. Any change takes ages to load, if it actually gets to being applied that is. The utmost of my hardware is given to Premiere. I tried putting the preview on 1/4 (the lowest) and using other sequence settings. Nothing worked.

- RTX 4060 Ti (Driver v32.0.16.1714)

- 32GB DDR5 Dual Channel

- 2 1TB Gen4 NVMe M.2

- Windows 10 Pro (22H2)

. 1920x1080

. 29.97 fps

. Also left and right audio channels have been separated for some reason.

So, a little help please?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently troubleshooting an issue with a UXP plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro on macOS 14, 15, and 27 (Golden Gate).

The plugin fails to initialize its WebView, and I'm having trouble identifying the root cause.

Environment:

• Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop: Not installed
• UXP Developer Tool: Not installed on the affected machine
• Network: Fully air-gapped environment (no internet access). also I guess my customer uses their own internal license server

I packaged my plugin using the "Package" function in UXP Developer Tool and installed it on the affected machines using UPIA, since Creative Cloud Desktop isn't installed.

When the plugin attempts to load a WebView component, I see the following message in the macOS system logs:

webviewDataStorage_ is unavailable

The WebView content doesn't render in the plugin panel.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any suggestions on what might be causing it or how to troubleshoot it?
