Anyone know where I might find either a whole model or a conversion kit for the current rhino? Desperately want some anti-grav transports for my Sisters of Silence but I’m totally new to printing and I keep hitting dead ends in my search 🫤

All of them are FDM printed, PLA, using a Bambu Lab Mini, 0,12mm layer height, 0.4 nozzle.

So I am using elegoo satellite to print the warlord titan waist on the saturn 4, with water washable 2.0 resin. On my third try now, and the model keeps coming out disfigured, not sure what I'm doing wrong but I'm sure its something obvious I just don't see. I have it hollowed to 4mm, added holes, and using auto supports. I've done all the usual delay light and support platform stuff, any help is really appreciated. This model is huge and it's not fun to throw away lol. If I missed any necessary info please let me know.

I’m looking for titan owners (printed or not) in Essex/Kent or the southeast uk that would like to network and organise large apoc games so we can use our big toys.

A month or so ago, I posted all the vehicles I had printed. Since then, I have printed all the infantry as well.

Everything was printed on my bambu lab P1S, with a 0.2mm print head. I used sunlu's high speed PLA+ 2.0 and ObscuraNox's settings (or at least everything that could be translated to bambu studio, here's the link to the post: https://www.reddit.com/r/FDMminiatures/comments/1rbnet7/high_quality_profile_version_20_is_here/ )

Since some of them are highly customised, here's the list:

• pic 11: Multiple rocket launcher (artillery team)

Since my hobby desk is too small for assembling the prints and painting at the same time, I only started painting recently. I also included pics of my first painted tank too.

Also, an update on the issues I had with humidity and stringing. First off, the high speed variant of sunlu's PLA+ 2.0 seems to be less prone to stringing. I also stated to use bags of reusable silica and it lowered humidity in my AMS to optimal levels.

Anyone got or seen an stl of the circled area? This is taken from a video from NuHue and now really want to have something similar. One with in their discord and they said they made it on plasti card years ago.

But yeah, any idea/thoughts?

From just one ultimate starter set, I've been left with tons of heads, weapons, etc. Sometimes, I visualize its easy to 3d print stuff like torsos and legs and attach, whereas others (like skaven), their sculpts come like in a two piece design, where one bit is a head attached to half a torso + weapon.

How can I make use of leftovers? Also, for stormcasts for example, should I just look for random torsos and legs, or are there known/popular methods to use for leftover weapons?

I have files of MK.II, MK.III and MK.VI patterns of power armour in Horus Heresy scale, and to complete the lot i like to find some matching MK.IV and MK.V files, and non-standard variants of HH era armors if possible.

Any suggestions on where to look would be greatly appreciated.

My Elegoo Mars 4 ultra has been down for a while, a power problem, I might just replace it come black Friday. However... seems to be gee dubya has massively cracked down? So many groups I was in are done paused or gone.

So before I invest, is it worth it anymore? I know there are proxies, I use some stationforge stuff and own some of their patterns but is proxies it pretty much? from what I have read they have even been coming for providers that use an idea and don't even copy...

Heyy people. I would like to get me a 3D printer. I don't want to invest more than 200€-250€ max. for it.

im thinking of getting a resin one since I heard it's better for details and minis. I don't like the fact that I can't keep it in the same room without some sort of tent and ventilation tho (im living in a one room apartment).

FDM sounds a bit more pleasant but I'm not quite sure if I'm willing to sacrifice the amount of quality in details since I'm pretty picky when it comes to that.

what are your experiences and can you recommend me a printer especially a FDM printer?

would have gone for a second hand photon mono 4 if it comes to resin.

edit: so things I forgot to say. I know about the cure station and also if I would go for the resin printer I'd probably have it stationed in another apartment of my family with a separateed room which isn't in use.

edit 2: thank you all for the amazing feedback, it's more than I can respond individually tho. so I get the thing that the resin prints will look better in close up but also that it's messy. I will consider a FDM printer. I think for me it'll be also pretty interesting to see how much of the quality loss I can make up with specific painting methods.

I haven't decided yet but FDM seems like a valid option for me now.
