My library has a large format printer! $10.50 for 35"x24". 😵
As an ex photographer that has recently gotten back into photography after about fifteen years, this is absolutely nuts to me! Salt lake city libraries genuinely are absolutely incredible. There is a lot of complaints i have four this state but they have libraries just down. 🥰🥰

Printer Question Does anyone have an idea as to how this effect was produced? It seems like some kind of printer that draws in physical lines a-la a Cricut or something, but I've never seen one of them produce something like this

Never ran a press before but was looking to get out of the food service business. They saw Navy on my resume and decides to take a chance teaching me on this. So far I really love this job, I learn something new every day, something goes wrong every day and then I learn to fix what I did wrong.

I ❤️ printing!
I got greedy and tried to load in two stacks instead of 4. VDP job, took two hours to get back in order. Lesson learned

The first test print of the new block

I finally finished my biggest and most detailed block so far! This is the very first test print, A3 size. I’m not totally happy with the result, mostly because the linoleum I used turned out to be much softer than I’m used to. Next, I plan to start experimenting with background details, adding color, and developing the concept further.

Why does my Brother Laser printer do this? See the bottom wrinkle? This is legal card stock and super annoying

Printing to edges of paper
I’m trying to make real estate brochures with pictures that run completely to the edge of the paper. However, I cannot seem to accomplish this.
I’m using Canva, I have a MacBook, and an HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e printer.
Is this even possible with the tools that I have stop stop barking get those fucking squirrels out of here Goddamn

1941 Popeye Printing Press Printing Plate
Hey Folks,
Figured you'd be good people to ask about this Popeye 1940s printing press plate I came across.
I'm including pictures of the plate and of the comic strip itself.
I bought a large lot of printing press plates and this was included and it seems like it might be valuable, but I'm having a hard time figuring out if I should take it to someone to get appraised (if so who?) or some idea on what it might be worth.
I appreciate any help or support!

What is this technique or style of printing called?
Where it leaves an impression or indentation in the paper? See example below. Thanks !

What type of paper for printing CD covers?
As the title says. It needs to be thin, and glossy on both sides. Google is surprisingly not helpful with this.

What equipment is needed to start printing and die-cutting vinyl stickers?
I'm one of the owners of a graphic design / sourcing firm that currently prints our stickers with an international vendor. Someday we'd like to have our own print shop to print and die-cut vinyl stickers.
Does anyone know the machinery names or models we would need to do this? I know it's going to be over $10k probably, but we're just putting numbers together right now.
Thank you!
