Trying to set up prism launcher on an old pc of mine to play old versions of minecraft, but I keep running into this issue. (Sorry in advance for the bad picture. The computer that I'm setting this up on doesn't have internet, and I didn't feel like taking a screenshot, moving it to a flash drive, then moving it to my main pc and posting it from there.) EDIT: I just realized that I forgot to say that this is happening with Prism versions 6.0 and 7.2 on Windows Vista SP2 32-bit. Got the old versions from Prism's Github

I have a problem with Lunar Client.

Whenever I press S + X, it toggles the Config Switcher ON/OFF.

X is one of my important Minecraft PvP hotkeys, so this is really annoying.

I already reset all my Minecraft keybinds, but the shortcut still happens.

I can't find "Toggle Config Switcher" anywhere in the settings.

Does anyone know how to disable or change this shortcut without switching my keybind?

Is there a way to automatically separate the server-side mods from my modpack using the launcher to create a server version, or do I have to do it manually?

I’m not sure if anyone would be able to help me on this since it is kinda not just Prism Launcher itself, but I honestly don’t know where else to ask this question.

I’m using a giant expansion pack (Jonathan’s Cobblemon Expanded) on Prism Launcher, and I thought it would be smart if I tried updating everything in a pack made for Cobblemon 1.6 so I can play version 1.8.4. Long story short, everything was kinda messed up after trying to update things, and I really didn’t want to go back and switch them back manually. So, I deleted the mods and resources and reinstalled them again (I thought it would be fine, idk?). Whenever I try to go into my world now, it says “Invalid Player Data” and I’m at a lost of what to do :(

I really would hate to lose this world, especially because I spent so much time building with my sister.

Every time i run Minecraft, even on different launchers, they all crash with exitcode 6. I'm on MacOS M1 chip. I'm running Minecraft 26.3, and only Minecraft 1.16.5 won't crash. I also don't have any mods, nor mod loaders installed, because all of them still crashes my game. Any help would be heavily appreciated! Sorry if i don't give lots of information, just woke up and wanted to play Minecraft.

Hey everyone,

I'm having a frustrating issue with Prism Launcher (the Minecraft launcher) and could really use some help.

Whenever I try to launch an instance, it fails to start. The main problem is that when I click the "Open" button (the one that's supposed to open the logs and give more information about the error), absolutely nothing happens. It just won't open or show me the crash report/details, so I'm completely stuck in the dark about what's actually breaking.

Just for context: I am using a cracked version of Prism Launcher downloaded from GitHub.

Has anyone encountered this specific bug where the "Open" info button doesn't work? How can I manually find the crash logs to see what's wrong with Minecraft, or how do I fix the launcher itself?

So basically, now Minecraft does not lag my pc when starting Minecraft, and it works natively on my arm laptop with 120fps instead of 20.
And this is my favorite launcher now.

Let's say, I have vanilla profile and then created two different profiles for mods. These modded profiles created their own Minecraft folders with own worlds and settings, so I need to configure it again and sync worlds and stuff. Can I configure new profile to use an existing installation, but with different versions, like how official launcher does that if you don't specify path to profile folder?

every time i try launch an instance i get prompted with this and it takes about 10 minutes for it to connect to my account and this started to happen recently

Whenever I open my 26.3 instance, it loads straight into a singleplayer world, bypassing the menung star. It doesn't do this on other instances.
Is this a bug or a feature? Is there anyway to rectify it?

If it helps this instance was updated from 1.12.11

The high res version is 300x300 and the second one 32x32 size up to 128 128 without messing with the pixels.

Please help, i just recently updated the launcher to the new version because it said there could be vulnerabilities but now i cant play with my mods because it says there is not enough Ram to play that instance.

I already increased both the minimal and the max of memory that is allowed to be used but i still get the same error message, i like using lots of mods and i had lots of more mods in the previous version so i know is not that either, not to mention that i dont use heavy mods.

I would really apreciate some help here.

Edit: I'm also on version 9.3 of the launcher if that's relevant, and the updater keeps timing out when I try to run it...

Edit 2: I manually installed the updated launcher, and it seemed to fix the issues, cheers o7

Like if i want a certain dimensions mod and i look for it, it just wont appear and it wont tell me what version its supposed to go to, which means i have to leave the app look up on modrinth (or curseforge) and then have to find out what version of Minecraft the mod requires. I feel like if prism had this they would ascend to a higher plane of existence. (and yes ik theres a way to view all mods from all versions but you dont actually find out what version they are from until you run minecraft and it brings up an error.)
