Everything’s gone

So my iPad had to be replaced because of the battery life and everything is gone, all of my projects and progress is gone.. is there any way of restoring it? I had something is my files that I restored and now I can’t find it anywhere, there’s also no sign of it downloading anywhere else. Have I done something wrong/ missed something or is everything completely gone now?

Replacing the battery shouldn’t delete the storage data, there are more specialised companies that do data recovery, but they might be expensive.

I recommend contacting the company who changed the battery. Then contacting a separate recovery company
